Will this antenna placement work well for long range?
Longest I've gotten with my old antenna setup was 6 miles, but I could have gone further. Hoping to fly high this time. Hoping to get get 399* over the tallest mountains in my area

Me in my 1946 luscombe 8a doing a spot landing challenge at Martin field (s95) in walla walla washington.
The goal was to land as soon as you can right after the numbers. My dad was recording as he thought I got around 6 feet. What do you guys think?
