Is it all garbage now?

I had been subscribed to multiple packs a month before the prices went through the roof year or so ago. Canceled and frankly couldn't afford it. I just picked up a 24 pack at Costco and its all Stevia now? Is there a place to get the original recipe or have they just ruined all of it?

Upgrade from TX Leather wheel.

Curious if anyone upgraded from TX to somthing like a simmagic or moza wheel. I checked pricing and was suprised its still sold for 500+ online. To be fair, I tgought it was a but flimsy at first but after 6 years of use and 3 years of straight up abuse from 2 toddlers it still works like the day i got it. Im worried upgrading may not stand up to the kids of im trading peformance for build quality.

The real reason to race Dirt Oval.

I jump into the Class C dirt oval stuff on occasion. I don't have any tracks so its only a couple races a season for me. As usual for open class C sprint cars it had a good share of yellow flags. About 6 or 7 in the main. Not once did I hear a angry voice com. Apologies and forgiveness, people actually checking the replays and talking about what they could have done better. It was a genuinely refreshing experience from the road racing rage coms. Thanks for a good time!

Road Racing Purchasing Guide

I end up doing this for myself out of curiosity each year so I figured I would post it to help all those "WHAT DO I BUY" posts. Hope this helps at least one person!

How does it work? I took the schedule as posted by iRacing Hub and compared it to participation scores from iRacing Reports "Track Health". It puts a even weighting between how often a track shows up vs how many people show up to race on it. The outliers are Nürburgring since licensing for some events gets a bit weird needing multiple purchases and any tracks that are new like Qualcomm or the "New" Laguna Seca.

Edit: to explain the rank missing numbers. All free content is excluded from the list.

Summer Sale is Live?

It seems like the summer sale is live but it is hidden under the Deals tab and has no banner on the front page at the moment.

Free Prix Appreciation

I wanted to highlight how awesome the Detroit Free Prix day is. I have 2 littles who can't handle the constant stimulation and sound for more than a couple hours so ive never been able to take them to a race before. We got to go down today, sit in the stands, and hear and feel the IMSA and indy cars first all for the price of parking (and some Rexy merch) the kids immediately fell in love and even got some stickers from the indy teams when we were watching them through the fence. We came away with two new little race fans, a happy mom, and a super happy dad. It would be really cool for more locations and series to pick the trend up.

Side note; There's also a bunch of really cool free watching places you can find further away from the track which was really useful for our neurodivergent guy as the stands were understandably allot for him.

Returning after 10+ Years. Need some direction

Backstory, I used to do some hobby level mixing. Allot of mixing at home for fun and playing small events here and there for a bit of cash and free food. Started with Virtual DJ before sticking with Traktor and Traktor 2 until I got distracted by life. Coming from Traktor I got really used to custom midi mapping everything and being able to use like a APC40 with custom maps for pretty much everything I could ever need.

Fast forward to today. I have all my production gear but no DJ style controller. No one seems to be talking about Traktor any more and controllers look to be dedicated to Rekordbox (which is totally new as a DJ software for me) and Serato. Ive looked at RB, Serato, Traktor 4, and Algoriddm DJ, and I cant seem to find a direction to head in. Ideally something with Spotify integration since a big reason I fell out of playing was paying for and managing local music libraries. To throw a little wrench in the works, aspirational controllers like the NS7 at the time are now comparatively dirt cheap but essentially locked to Serato which is the least "Traktor Like" of all of the modern software's. Any opinion and guidance is welcome!

Ideal Software would have in order of importance; Creative tools, custom controller mapping, Spotify integration, a mobile companion software.
