What smartwatches are good for swimming?

I currently own a galaxy watch classic 6 and an oppo find x9 pro, I was thinking of taking swimming lessons however my watch is now two years and I'm afraid it'll die the moment I get into water lol. Also some of sport smartwatches don't really focus on notifications or music which I appreciate

I was reading other posts and people suggest the band/smartwatch to support at least 5 ATM, however even Xiaomi bands support that on paper but I'm not sure they're gonna last. But I'm also wary of investing more if there's a risk the smartwatch is gonna break...

So what do you think? Should I get a simple smartband exclusive for swimming or should I invest in a more expensive watch and update my current watch?

Missing steps?

I changed my S23 ultra for an oppo find x9 pro, downloaded Samsung wear and Samsung health and the watch works great. But for some reasons I'm missing all of the steps data on the steps log. Any idea? Samsung health is synced...

Lower steps are from oppo, higher steps from Samsung...

Are all Windows laptops destined to become slow?

I've got a Lenovo IdeaPad slim 3 laptop from two years ago with windows 11, an i5u Intel processor, 8 GB of RAM and half of a 512 GB storage occupied. I think it was the best deal I could get for a budget laptop, and it worked great at the beginning, but it now stutters with basic multitasking - writing on a Google docs document and opening a folder isn't instantaneous anymore, it lags, stutters and I have to keep on waiting around 5 secs for a simple task.

I've read all of the generic advice - clean the fans, make sure there are no viruses, remove unnecessary startup applications, but I do wonder why all of my previous laptops have had the same fate - after a few years of use, they just become slower and slower, even if the specs get better with time. I wonder whether it's a design issue - laptops will catch dust more easily due to limitations of physical space, and will suffer more with heat dissipation. Is this the case? Are Lenovo Thinkpads and MacBook pro better in this aspect for a reason? Or do they have the same fate?

I'm wondering if I should spend yet more money in a more premium laptop (and watch it slowly degrade), try again all of the home remedies or just install Linux. What have been your experiences?

Does having too many messages slow down WhatsApp?

I bought a new phone and I'm in the process of moving everything, but I'm wondering whether transfering so many messages (as far as 6 years old) is worth it. I think it's my OCD saying I *might* need something from one of the chats but honestly there are so many messages I doubt I even remember them. I wish there was a way of reading WhatsApp backups on a PC or backing up chats from a specific period of time. I read about a program from some Andrea but I don't want to root my phone.

Anyway, the question is if I restore all of the messages from my previous phone, will it slow down the new phone? Is there another way of backing up things where you can actually see your messages instead of having everything encrypted?

Thanks in advance

Logitech Bluetooth Keyboard input lag

So I got myself the new Huawei matepad mini and a Logitech pebble keys 2 Bluetooth Keyboard. Aesthetically, they look amazing. But I'm a fast typer and I've noticed input lag when pressing the uppercase key. This makes words like like tHis since the uppercase key wasn't activated until the second letter and it's annoying. This doesn't happen when I connect the keyboard to a lenovo laptop.

The keyboard and huawei firmware are up to date so I don't know if I specifically need a Huawei keyboard? Does anyone else have this problem?

Are OPPO phones as snappy as OnePlus?

I come from an S23 ultra and I've been looking for a OnePlus 13, however they're not available in my country. I've heard that oppo owns OnePlus so I figured maybe these phones are as snappy as OnePlus, but I don't know if they offer the same experience. My current phone lags when taking photos and if I'm doing three things at once (like using music, maps and another app), so I want a phone that's doesn't struggle with this and has good camera. Would you say oppo phones are as snappy as OnePlus?
