Howdy. I have 2 Closed credit cards. Never missed a payment and Navy federal closed them due to risk profile I guess. I’ve paid them down to 8,000/15,000 and 8,000/13,700. Does TransUnion FICO 9 (which is what NFCU uses for auto loans I believe) show limit history or does it see them as 100% utilized? I asked because I paid $4000 on one a week before the statement date and when it hit my credit report my score didn’t move at all. Kinda confusing.

Just wondering if going in person at a branch to get an auto loan would be better if I have iffy credit? I’m about to pay a credit card down from 97% to 70% and once it updates go to a branch in person. My score is 612 TU and I’m putting $10k down on a 28k car
Hey guys! I’ve been working on myself for a few years now. I sold my 2013 Boss 302 Mustang about 6 years ago to pay off all my debt. It took me until this year but I’m finally in a decent spot and I’ve increased my income quite a bit. The guy I sold it to offered to sell it back to me and I really would like to have it back, I dearly miss it. It’s low mileage and he’s wanting $28k which is fair in today’s market but I’m not sure what my approval odds are.
Just paid off a collection ( got a pay for delete) and my 1 $1000 credit card is at 0% utilization
I have no rent or mortgage. Hoping my score will reach 630-650 by then?!
Income: $102k
Debt to income is 9%
Current Trans Union score: 612, expecting increase after utilization updates.
Existing NFCU auto loan ($262 payment, about $8k balance remaining).
Two closed NFCU credit cards still being repaid (about $21k total balance, roughly $500/month combined payments).
Will have $13k down by late July.
Any input would be appreciated!

I am not the most well spoken person so if you just want to see the Suppressors in action skip to 17:10. Also feel free to listen to my rambling if close your eyes while I talk you can pretend I’m a random southern dude you met at a gas station 🤣
