I have to identify myself to police when they ask. Do I have to spell my name for them too?

If I had a name like Björnstjerna or Andrzejczak, do I have to make it easy for them to look up who I am?

I understand if be making it unnecessarily difficult on myself, but is there a precedent that says identifying myself includes spelling my name for them?

I Can’t tell police to enter a destructive password after they begin a search, but can I delete the contents of my phone before they begin a search?

Hypothetical:

My plane just landed and I don’t want police going through my phone. Can I preemptively wipe my phone before going through the gate and customs?

We are thinking of adopting this dog. I think she’s got pit bull in her and if she does, we won’t be able to get her.

EDIT: SHE’S BEEN ADOPTED

We take our dogs to a veterinarian on a military installation. But the base has a strict no pits policy. The vet won’t see her if she’s a pit bull.

I think she’s got some pit. But the rescue says she’s an American Foxhound and English Pointer mix. I know sometimes shelters can embellish breeds to see their dogs get adopted, but we can’t take the chance.

For prosecutors and criminal defense attorneys: have you ever tried a capital murder case where there was no body?

We’ve got a local case where a person is charged with capital murder and other charges but they haven’t found the body of the victim after searching for months.

If you’ve ever tried a case like this, how did it go?

Can a victim sue the estate of someone for slanderous, libelous, or defamatory speech made before that person died?

Example: I'm a reprehensible degenerate sack of shit with a large audience and no filter. 2 and a half years ago, a jury found me liable for defamation against some lady I don't even remember. Since then, I've appealed and appealed, but haven't been successful in getting the ruling overturned.

Also since then, I've ramped up my shittalking. I literally cannot stop myself from making public, defamatory, and demonstrably false comments about this lady.

I am in poor health and might die soon. My estate is allegedly worth billions. If I die today, would this lady be able to sue my estate for the new comments I've made about her since the initial verdict was delivered?

Incredibly specific hypothetical. You’re an attorney who’s been empaneled on a criminal trial’s jury. The case gets dismissed due to prosecutorial misconduct. Is it a violation of ethics rules to represent that defendant in a civil case against the government later?

I’m watching an absolutely trash show and there’s some motherfuckery going on.
