Gigil ako sa (new?) feature na to sa fb messenger

(DISCLAIMER: The picture above is just to show the feature in Messenger I am referring to in my story below, para sa mga di pa alam yung feature na yan. Hindi po yan mismo yung chat namin kanina.)

Why did they decide to have that feature? Muntik na ako mapahamak kanina dahil diyan. 😭

Nasend ko yung half naked pic ko sa buyer na kachat ko sa messenger dahil diyan. 🤣

I was taking pictures of my gym progress with my naked body, at sa kalagitnaan ng pagti-take ko ng pic, nagmessage si buyer so nagmadali kong i-open yung chat niya tapos sumulpot yang pahamak na floating frame na yan with my half naked pic, at aksidente kong napindot yung send button.

Buti na lang nadelete ko agad (not sure if nakita niya, di ko na tinanong). 😅

Sa mga di pa nakaka-alam, ang nangyayari kasi, pag nagtake ka ng pic tapos inopen mo agad ang isang chat window sa messenger, eh magpa-pop yung floating frame na yan with your newest taken pic. Not sure kung kelan pa nagsimula yung feature na to sa messenger pero for me nakakagigil siya, it's so annoying, at pwede ka pa mapahamak. 🤬 Di ko pa alam pano i-disable yung feature na yan but I'll research about it.

Please tell me I'll be okay, I'm worried about the stupid decision I made at a derma earlier

So I went to this derma clinic for the first time to try their Hydrafacial. Everyone was really professional and welcoming, and my aesthetician was also great. She seemed very knowledgeable about skincare and answered all of my questions confidently.

However, during my facial treatment, she offered me their gluta drip. I honestly didn’t know much about it at the time. I didn’t know how it would be administered, what the possible side effects were, or even what exactly it was supposed to do. The only thing I knew was that glutathione could supposedly make your skin lighter.

I was very hesitant to try it because I wasn’t sure whether it was actually safe, and it was also pretty expensive. I asked her several times if it was really safe. I specifically asked whether it could damage my liver or kidneys, and she assured me that it wouldn’t. I also asked about the specific benefits and risks, and she answered all of my questions very confidently.

Eventually, I trusted her and decided to try it.

But after I got home, I immediately started researching glutathione IV drips, and now I’m freaking out. 😭 I learned that IV glutathione isn’t FDA-approved, and I’ve also come across a lot of reports and warnings about possible kidney and liver problems.

Am I really screwed? 😭 I’m really hoping I didn’t damage anything inside my body from just one drip session. So far, it’s been half a day and I don’t feel anything unusual, but I’m still anxious that I might develop something later.

Do you think I’m likely to be okay, or is this something I should be genuinely concerned about? ☹️

My bacne is finally healing

I started having severe bacne after I hit my 30s around 2-3 years ago. I never went to a derma due to busy schedules. I tried many sulfur soaps of different brands as recommended by my friends, I also tried Panoxyl kasi recommended siya ng ibang tao online. None of them worked for me. Mawawala yung iba pero may mga bago ding nagpapop-up. They can be painful at times, too. My level of confidence really went down. It was affecting me not only physically but mentally as well.

So, nag research ulit ako online, and I saw many good reviews about oxecure. Medyo namamahalan ako sa presyo ng sabon nila (I think 300+ pesos yung large size) pero sige na lang, baka ito na yung makakatulong sa bacne ko. So, I tried the oxecure soap. Around 2 weeks of usage napansin ko na naghi-heal na yung mga bacne ko, and that gave me a big relief. Parang na-excite ako.

Tapos nakita ko din yung toner nila sa Watsons. I asked CGPT kung pwede ba to sa back ko for bacne, pwede naman daw dahil sa bha pha content nito. So, I decided to try it. I apply it after showering. Well, makikita niyo naman sa pictures yung improvement after 1-2 month of usage. Nagheal na talaga sila 😭. May mga bago pa ring nagpa-pop pero pa-isa-isa na lang every week, minsan wala. 🥹

Worry ko na lang ngayon ay yung mga piklat, I am hoping na mawala na lang sila on their own, hehe, but I'll do more research on how to make the bacne scars disappear but you may also recommend products for it. 🙏

I hope makutulong yung post na to.

Totoo nga ang mga glowing reviews, grabe yung takot at luha ko sa palabas na to

I didn't expect to be absolutely terrified and be overwhelmingly emotional by this film. Grabe yung grip ng kamay sa upuan ko para kasing malalaglag na ako. Grabe patak ng luha ko especially sa last 20 mins ng film, like wow, grabe yung bigat ng mga scenes na yun.

Christopher Nolan f*** you ka talaga, napakalaging mo, sobrang. I think Interstellar is no longer my favorite film of yours, this one is taking the spot most likely. 😭

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch this on IMAX kasi fully booked na lahat ng seats even for tomorrows showing kaya I decided to watch this in Ayala's A-Giant Cinema (Cebu), para na ring naka-IMAX kasi medyo curved yung screen at ang laki din talaga, halos IMAX din yung laki, tapos yung sound sobrang lakas, like nanginginig talaga upuan namin. I might rewatch this in IMAX kapag di na ganun ka hype yung film, I want to enjoy this one with less ppl.

Grabe, I'm still overwhelmed. Napaka-intense yung fight scene sa huli, I'm not sure how Nolan made that simple fight very intense, he's a very talented director talaga, he's a master in creating something effectively climactic. Btw, that terrifying scene of Zendaya is still stuck in my brain, I was really terrified by that scene omg.

Saying that I love this film is an understatement. Definitely deserves a 10/10 rating!

What's the chance that our Vice President will be impeached now?

Now that APC has been ousted and Senator Win is the new Senate President, with Senator Tito serving as Senate President Pro Tempore, what are the chances that our VP will be impeached?

Is there anything her supporters in the Senate can still do to stop the impeachment, or are we already in the endgame?

Wala na jud bay solusyon ning problema? Mohawa jud mga investors ug turista diri if dili ni sulbaron nila, motabang pud unta ang LGU.

I'm so glad I was still able to catch Mortal Kombat 2 on IMAX

I was really hesitant to spend money for it bc MK1 was not that great, but I've been a fan of the video game, so I was really torn between watching it on the big screen or just wait for it to go streaming.

I was checking today's IMAX schedule at our SM Cinema and I saw a SINGLE showing of MK2 on IMAX, so I said it was probably a sign to just give it a watch lol.

Anyway, I went there with no expectations whatsoever, and I left the cinema with a big smile on my face, like I couldn't stop smiling. I think I had a really great time.

MK2 is definitely a big improvement from its predecessor. The action sequences and choreographies, man, they're TOP NOTCH, like I'm not even exaggerating. I don't remember the last time I felt an intense suspense while watching fights. Watching all my favorite MK characters come to life was a great unexplainable feeling. The best fight was between Liu Kang and Kung Lao, that was fcking lit! I wish they gave Liu Kang more fight scenes, though. I feel like I didn't see enough of him. The actress who played Kitana did an amazing job. She was very convincing. It was really an entertaining movie.

I'd say my main criticism goes towards the corny lines, and the emptiness of some scenes, I feel like they could have added more people in Shao Khan's kingdom, it didn't really feel like he has a huge army, too, but I guess there was a budget constraint.

Regardless, I had great time and I can't wait for the next one!

Yeah, everyone knows Michael Jackson, his music, and his enormous influence on pop culture, but he was also a very controversial figure, and those allegations against him turned a lot of people off, including me. And bc of those allegations, I kind of stayed away from discovering his music, and just totally lost interest in him. I would hear about "Thriller" re-entering the Hot 100 chart every Halloween but still not enough for me to dive into his music.

Then, I heard about Michael coming to the theaters. I was a bit intrigued because overall I’m a pop culture enthusiast (mostly an Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga fan), and I kinda wanted to learn about his story. But the critics’ reviews affected my interest in the movie, and I initially decided not to see it because I thought it would just be a waste of time and money.

However, the movie has earned so much buzz on Twitter that I couldn't escape it. A lot of my fellow Ariana and Gaga fans were praising the movie, so that stirred my interest again. Then, everyday, I could see a lot of posts here on Reddit praising the movie as well. So, yeah, I finally decided to see it on IMAX with my partner. And wow, we were both completely blown away.

We left the theater very satisfied. We felt heavy emotions while watching the film, like we cried so many times. The first time my eyes got teary was during the part the child version of him was singing "Who's Lovin' You". I was like, I've never heard such a very impactful voice like that from a kid. He was indeed a prodigy, no wonder he was already famous as a kid.

The story about MJ told in the film captivated me, from his tragic childhood, to his evolution into a renowned artist, to him fighting for equality in the music industry and for freedom from his abusive dad, and to his dedication to helping less fortunate kids. Everything about the story made me see why this man was adored by billions of people around the world.

But of course, the performances were the highlight of the film. I never cared about Billie Jean (crazy, right?), but after that performance, that song has been on repeat every fucking day on my Spotify. That shit is totally a banger, everything about it is dope, from the lyrics, to the melodies, to his vocal delivery, and to its production, it's insane. And now I’ve been discovering so much of Michael Jackson’s music.

Ever since I watched the film a week ago, I’ve had like 10 Michael Jackson songs in my rotation every day. I can’t believe I missed out on so much of his music. I thought people were just overrating it, but now that his songs are on heavy rotation for me, I understand why they’re considered masterpieces. I understand now why he’s called the King of Pop, and I believe, no one can ever match him in our lifetime, or maybe even ever. I believe Michael’s level of artistry, impact, popularity, and influence will be forever untouched.

I’m very excited for the sequel to 'Michael'. I’m so hyped! But for now, I’ll continue discovering more about Michael Jackson and his music. That’s all, thanks for reading my little yap about MJ

Hee hee.

I was really happy when I got my Buds2 Pro three years ago. At the time, they were the most expensive earbuds I had ever owned (I’m still a student, so my budget is limited), and I remember being amazed by the sound.

But recently, I started having connection issues. They would suddenly disconnect while I was listening to music, and I couldn’t deal with it anymore.

So today, I finally decided to upgrade to the Buds4 Pro, and wow. I was completely blown away by the sound quality. I’m not really an audiophile, but I love listening to music a lot. This is a huge upgrade from the Buds2 Pro. I can now hear subtle details in songs that I couldn’t hear before.

I’m currently having “eargasms,” so to speak. It feels like my ears have been cleared. The music is crisp, the bass is stronger, and the treble is really clean. It feels like I’m hearing my favorite songs for the first time.

I’m very satisfied with this upgrade, and I’m not even using a Samsung phone. Hopefully, in the future, I can get a Samsung Galaxy phone so I can fully experience these earbuds. But by then, there will probably be even better buds pro version out lol.

Just had my IMAX viewing, and I was genuinely impressed...? I know Michael Jackson is a controversial figure, but after watching the film, I can’t deny how exceptional he is as an artist. I didn’t expect him to be that visionary and creative. I already knew he was incredibly talented in dancing and singing, but seeing it all on the big screen still blew me away.

The child version of Michael really touched me, I actually got teary-eyed. And wow, I didn’t realize his father was that of an asshole. The performances were easily the highlight of the movie. I was in awe.

Personal rating: 9/10

P.S. I was caught off guard when his mom mentioned the name “Jehovah.” Back when I was still a Jehovah’s Witness, I remember hearing rumors that he was a JW too, though I’m not sure if he was ever baptized. It definitely brought back memories, lol.
