Hey guys, im looking for a shoes recommendation considering i have this frustration with the followi g shoes designs that unfortunately is no longer under circulation or bei g produced....

Idk, what it is with these shoes design but for the most part, what really stood out for me is the tips of these shoes, like a sharper, more updated superstar. adidas has never tried to replicate them ever again, which is just blowing my mind.

Idk if its just me but these designs dont feel dated, they'd feel at home in todays age and fashion, thats how timeless i see these designs are.

Now, since they aren't being made anymore. Im looking for shoes that match the same energy,spirit and soul that these designs have. The brand doesn't matter, im after the similar look if that means anything. TIA

Trying to ID an Adidas basketball shoe from around the early/mid 2000s.

I remember seeing it when I was in high school and desperately wanting a pair, but my parents never bought them for me. Unfortunately I don't have a picture.

The defining feature I remember is the toe. It looked somewhat like the Adidas Superstar/T-Mac shell-toe, but instead of being rounded, the toe was much more angular/geometric/sharp-looking.

I remember the model having both a high-top and low-top version.

It was definitely an Adidas basketball shoe, probably around 2000–2005-ish.

The angular Superstar-like toe is the strongest memory I have.

I've already ruled out the T-Mac 1, Kobe 1, Top Ten 2000, Superstar Ultra and Pro Model 2G.

This is basically a 20+ year old core memory, so unfortunately I can't remember the colorway or much else. 😂

I mean, it's literally 12seasons in the making. Even i didn't see it coming, after penny and leonard argued as who would do it, i wasn't sure leonard had the balls to execute (as whinny as he is)

I might be stretching it but this gave me goosebumps on par with cap getting his backups un endgame but maybe thats just me.

With all the recent trash marvel has been cooking up lately, bringing back a highly rated character with his signature trope (storytelling) might just make them money.

After rewatching this gem (which i enjoyed btw considering how nerfed mcu hulk is) this scene among others bugged me. Raised so many questions cuz it felt unrealistic (yea yea i know its fiction) but physics should still matter for you to appreciate it right?

How much force or speed was needed to execute that fist long jump?

Hulks weight and velocity?

Shouldn't the landing site have been totalled or somehow created a small crater or hole? (I figured his knees work like shock absorbers BUT his weight and speed and where he came from should have cancelled that out)

Im just curious about the maths that should have gone into this scene to make it "realistic" and "believable"

Idk, i just cant shake the feeling that i would have enjoyed this more IF the physics were close to irl numbers. Its like watching a fight scene of segals movies vs the action of ongbak. In ongbak every hit feel heavy and real life effect or damage is portrayed very well.

I just thought this was funny as hell. I just wanted to chat with someone/something about CD without having to wait hrs for replies + since its single player game and I don't have friends that play it.

So basically it thinks CD hasn't been released yet and it gaslighted me and implied something like i was on a mandela effect of a game that hasn't been out yet.

FYI, It's a bit of a long read but the interaction i had with it is surprising and interesting to say the least.
