was startled and a sadden to see the welcome tree had finally toppled over. didn’t know it recently happened this summer. all things come to an end.

wife was driving yesterday and the CEL engaged. code was for mass air flow sensor. I released the gas cap and it exhaled as I removed the cap. I picked up a can of cleaning fluid for the sensor and as I drove the car home from the auto store the CEL turned off.
was it the gas cap? no changes in idle and still usual mpg.
382k miles on it. I try to do as much diy as I am able.
I feel like Phil Hartman would have been a great addition to the cast.
I saw this in a San Diego post and was running a game of what’s cheap / affordable / good value in Durango?
my short list thus far:
the bus is free in the summer and a dollar to ride other times of the year.
6 dollar movie on Tuesday.
river access / trails.
the rec center- which includes a pool and classes
a basic Zia burrito.
lake Nighthorse.
10 dollar ska yoga that also includes a beverage.
a homeslice pizza slice is five dollars.
harvesting your own christmas tree 8 dollars
floating the river
does anyone use a t-bird for funk music?
always have loved their appearance, but have never been able to describe their tone.
I live in a small college town in Colorado. but in the last five years I have dove into music here. I go to a nice music program here and I have family in the pnw. just curious what it’s like in Bellingham.
I’ve messed around with kettle bells for years, but somehow I’ve lost my way on getting anywhere. I’ve used youtube routines. I have a copy of Pavel simple sinister.
I guess I’m looking for recommendations on how to keep a routine going daily or at least five days a week. I have a pair of 25lbs. a 35lb, and a 45lbs. I also have a 15lbs mace and pull up / dip set up.
What number of reps and sets is a moderate goal to start with? thanks! the content on here has been a real inspiration.
I went to my first Durango farmers market on main today. I’ve lived here for 12 years and this was the first time I could appreciate the architecture down town on main walking along the yellow double line. it felt like a time long ago when there weren’t cars but horse and buggies to watch out for. I had a fantastic time going along the routes of our vast small businesses. felt like each alley had something to offer. I hope this will continue, I’m sure logistically it’s a bit of a head ache but seemed by noon it was over and back to business as usual. my wife and I stepped into many shops too because it was HOT out but the ac respite was great.
my vote is we keep farmers market on main. just for one morning a week. it was way more laid back and family / dog friendly.
getting to watch both night it seems page is on fire. loved last night was mostly piano jams. He’s my favorite to watch so far this tour.
I have been hit hard by poppy’s patina ads.
any experience or waste of money?
I have 99 100 series that I adore, however it is approaching at milestone of 400k miles. current mileage is 382k.
i will need a new power steering pump this summer at about 2k but will also need a rack and pin system replacement soon to the tone of 2800. She also needs new shocks.
the mechanic told me it’s like the cartoon where the character plugs one hole and then another leaks, so you plug that hole, and then another until all four limbs are in use.
I really do enjoy this car, and don’t really want to tap out yet. But the mileage is real. I guess either way I go I’m looking at spending 4-8k on any car- but id prefer to stay with one I know. What are other high mileage TLC owner experiences with keeping it on the road?
I have a wooden picnic table I’m needing to get rid of. Anyone need a picnic table?
when you push the rear hatch button on the physical back door is it suppose to open automatically for you like it does on the fab or inside the cab or do you have to physically manually open it? just seeing if im doing it wrong. currently I’m physically opening it.
do you have to lubricate the sliding doors with anything to keep them opening and closing? would garage door lubricant be safe to use?
2015 xle two wheel drive leather interior. good condition cosmetic scuffs here and there. 152k miles on it. dealer took my two old blown out trades for a 1000 dollars.
after taxes and fees it 14138 total. we payed for the whole thing.
I dunno maybe we should have haggled. one owner car. has lived in my area all its life.
what’s your opinion?
in my area a dealer has a used sienna xle 2015 for just under 14k dollars and 153k miles on it.
V6, fwd, leather, heated seats, minor cosmetic on bumper, one owner and has been only used in my area for its life. roughly 14k miles driven annually.
I am hopefully able to trade both my other cars to help and have 7-10k cash I can offer.
any advice? walk away if too expensive or if the 2015 is a dodgy year to avoid. thank you!! wife drove it yesterday and liked it!
hi, thought I’d just share this, I have a 1999 TLC 100 series and recently replaced the battery w a Super Start extreme and after a few days of driving the overall performance for start up and electronics seems better already.
that’s all. Happy trails!
