I think I’m gonna call this done. I want to make the seatbelts a little thinner, but I’m pretty happy with the results.This old girl was showing her age…poor fit and lots of injection marks and flash(and not the big pieces that are easy to deal with,I’m talking about little slivers between delicate parts).But all in all it was a nice kit and it’s great for someone who wants a bit of a challenge

Well I made it through all of that piping,so I think I will call her finished.Another quality product from Bandai.
She’s the usual Bandai quality, but boy is that piping tedious

Just finished the Moebius “Mars Attacks” Alien Warrior.This was an easy and very fun build…and that lamppost was just calling out to be lit up.

Thought I would share my Father’s Day gift from my daughter,the Monkeemobile model kit. I first built one of these as a kid when it was released in the ‘60’s and loved it,so this was a nice trip down memory lane.Hope you like it 😀
Just a quick update.Almost done with the interior (still needs a few more steps and tweaks)then she’ll be buttoned up and on to the exterior.
Just a quick look at how she’s going.No real problems so far…it’s just a shame a lot of the interior will not be seen

I think I’m going to call her done. I just need to tweak the rigging a bit and she goes on the shelf. It was a fun kit, but I don’t think I’d do one again,even though I’ll probably do a Fokker DR 1 “Red Baron” as a companion piece 😀

I’m currently working on the Academy 1/32 Sopwith Camel and have a question regarding the prop….are the striations dark enough or should they be darker. I haven’t gloss coated it yet and wonder if they will darken more. Thanks in advance.
