We recently restored this v1.3 Europiccola at our shop Officina Burja. Bought it for 70€ and even that I thought was too high looking at the condition. Me and my friend are working on a very rare espresso machine and while disassembling the boiler we noticed the holes for the group head flange assembly have cracks. That explains why it was leaking with the correct gasket + sealant... The boiler is made of stainless steel which is 3mm thick. I'm wondering if the cracks are possible to TIG weld with argon or we should fabricate an entirely new boiler. The boiler needs to hold max 15 bars of pressure and the bolts / nuts that go against these holes have a torque spec of 16Nm. Thank you for your help!
Zadnjič sem se imel priložnost sprehoditi po Kamniku in moram pohvalit, kako lepo urejeno je mestno jedro. Povsod urejeno rastlinje, glavna ulica zaprta za promet, ohranjena pročelja starih hiš ter izložb. Tako pristno bi morala zgledati slovenska mesta, brez eskirojev povsod, po možnosti z izvirnim tlakovanjem iz granitnih kock :)
Hej! Zanimam se za to da bi opravil izpit za motor 125cc, tistih 6h, z namenom da postanem bolj mobilen za manjsi strosek kot je avto. Imel sem kombi pa stane cisto prevec sploh s parkingi, bencinom in servisi. Imam ze izkusnje s cestnim kolesom, se kar samozavestno spuscam :) hkrati pa berem da je skoraj bolj varno ce imas mocnejsi motor da lahko varneje prehitevas in se vklucujes v promet. Tistih 300€ za izpit mi ni problem, me pa zanima kaj se sploh da dobit od motorja da ni 2k€+ in da bo cim manj za sraufat. Moj stil voznje bi bil cesta pa obcasno mogoce kak makedam, gozdna pot. Ce je kaksno manjse popravilo znam postimat tudi sam :) Najlepša hvala za vašo pomoč!
Hey, Went to the mountains yesterday and as it was really hot, my shirt was a bit humid, and after I got home I noticed my rangefinder window on my M4-2 has some water residue inside. Even though I cleaned it from outside, I cant reach the inside without taking off the top plate. Camera was recently serviced. Does anywone know if the window on this model is coated? I hope its not delamination as then I would need a new window. Also is it possible to better seal around the window somehow to prevent this happening again in the future? My tech is kind enough that he will help me take care of this :D

Anyone got any info on this machine? I asked La Marzocco museum and archive and didnt get any reply... they just wanted to buy it, but no info who made it and so on. Date of manufacture I guess is around 1992. Seller said it was made by Piero Bambi, but who knows. Parts are undeniably vintage Marzocco and there is even an inscription on the grouphead that I can't decipher :)
