Idea for a game mode in the vein of hackmons: casino cup

This is probably not an original idea, or something easily implemented by the devs, but I wanted to discuss it nonetheless.

What about a game mode where literally everything is a 50/50 chance? All moves changed to have 50% accuracy, all secondary effects happen 50% of the time, all abilities that have a chance for activation activate 50% of the time (like static paralyzing 50% of the time on contact), conditional items have a 50% to activate (like focus band saving the pokemon 50% of the time they would be knocked out), paralyzation has 50% chance to full para, pokemon wake up from sleep 50% of the time.

What kinds of strategies would dominate? How much skill expression could there be in a format like this? Are there any particular bans or clauses that would help make this actually playable?

This idea was of course inspired by focus blast.

Wild how you can say something objectively true about trans people on this site and you will get massively downvoted

Literally saying that transition changes sex and that gender is an immutable characteristic, which is why conversion therapy doesnt work on trans people, causes cis people to lose their shit. They cannot handle being wrong about trans people. And this is the site thats supposed to be le omg progressive.

TCD.

Is there anything that can be done about transphobic subreddit moderators?

There is a subreddit that keeps popping up in my feed. The past few days there have been a few posts from that subreddit about Rowling that popped up.

Every time, a solid 50% of the comments are heinous transphobia.

They have a rule, "no disrespect." Apparently that does not apply to transphobia, but does apply to trans people accurately describing something as hateful, transphobic, or propagandistic. I have had more than one such of my comment removed by moderators citing that rule, and yet none of the transphobic comments I report are touched.

This is a pretty major subreddit that covers a topic I'm interested in, but I am so sick of seeing transphobia and being silenced for speaking out against it. Its pretty clear their moderation team has a pretty major transphobic streak to them. Is there any chance of site admins addressing something like this? I have a feeling like that any organized protest or boycott is likely to be labeled brigading and lead to bans, but i dont know the specifics.

Just got a warning for debunking transphobia

Someone was trying to say being trans was similar to being schizophrenic and I responded debunking them.

I guess the asshole reported me because I got an account warning for "promoting hate."

Fuck this transphobic fucking website and fuck anyone who thinks it's in any way progressive. Every day I see countless transphobic comments denying our identities and humanity and advocating for the removal of our rights. Somehow they can't seem to moderate those, but apparently they have no fucking problem moderating a trans woman debunking them.

Way Huge Supa Puss seems broken

My Supa Puss is just not producing any repeats whatsoever right now. All of the lights, knobs, and buttons appear to be working just fine. I tried powering it from my power supply and also tried a 9v battery and neither made a difference.

When i turn the pedal on it sounds identical to when the pedal is off.

Any ideas what might be going wrong?
