First attempts at some Lego photos! Wanted to put Grogu and the Anzellans somewhere fun and thought the sushi restaurant would be a great for.

Behold my desk display! Granted all I have to do to see most of the rest of my collection is turn around, but it's nice to have some of my favorites front and center. On a rough day at work looking down at grumpy monkey feels like looking in a mirror.

Larger display sets are great but I'll always have a soft spot for microfighters, I love how they look and they're easy to display on my desk. Any good ones I'm missing from my collection?

It's been a few years since I bought third party minifigs and I'm really impressed with the quality! Most of these are Koruit brand which I had heard is one of the better ones. The printing details and amount of accessories are excellent and the build quality is really good. Possibly slightly thinner or less robust plastic than the official brand figs but they feel good. Some of these are for my daughters play collection so I'll see how they hold up to some rough stuff but most are for display and mocs.

Shout out to the kongbricks store where I ordered these from too. I found them on Google after having trouble finding exactly what I wanted from Aliexpress sellers. They seem to be a China-based seller like the Aliexpress stores just with their own storefront, but I was happy with their selection and customer service. Got another big order on the way with a couple different brands to try out.

I've had my eye on local listings and found all 3 of these tall Trofast for sale for $30! Not my first choice of bin color and they needed some cleaning but for the price I can't complain. Now I'm almost ready to stop procrastinating and start sorting the multiple bins of mixed Lego I've been collecting.

Set up this budget shelf build in the closet in my home office. I found this lovely 7 foot bookshelf on FB marketplace for $50 and the spent about another $50 on the lighting setup.

At one point I realized it was too tall and wide to fit through my closet door and I had to toss out my careful planning and hack off the top 7 inches with a sawzall. I was really wishing I had just gone with a Billy for a while there. Luckily I was able to mostly make it look normal again and I think eventually adding some trim pieces along the top will do a good job of fully hiding my shame.

One thing left is to find a better way to hide the wires from the lights, maybe tape them to the underside of the shelves with some white electrical tape? Other than that I just get to play with what I want to display here and how to arrange it all.

My droid collection so far, finally got enough to put the whole squad on their own shelf

Picked up Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison for my first foray into Star Wars comics and I was surprised how intense some of the scenes are. Really incredible artwork and a great story.

I get a ton of fomo seeing all the Minas Tirith posts and other big sets, but I really love my small collection. Would love to find space for Rivendell someday but happy to have Bag End, the Fellowship and Treebeard in my little cube shelf.

I gathered most of this collection almost a decade ago but have added a few figures here and there. Most are genuine Lego but there are a few customs rounding out the Justice League.

Finally dusting them off and trying to think of better ways to display them. Recently I've been pretty deep in the rabbit hole of Lego Star Wars so trying to make shelf space for those but still show some love to my Marvel and DC collections too. I'm thinking maybe separating out to smaller dedicated base plates for just Marvel, DC and the various other franchises in here?
