Finished first marathon - time not what I wanted

Finished my first marathon in melbourne yesterday!! Although I am so happy I finished, the way I was training I should have got a better time.

I was with rhe 4:45 hours pacer comfortably for 23km, then some bad nausea and indigestion hit for the next 17km which caused me to need 9 minutes worth of breaks and to lose my pacer. In the end my chip time was 5 hours and 10 minutes.

Trying to just be happy that I finished, even knowing I didn't get my sub 5 goal on the day!!!

Said yes to this dress - which jewellery?

Really stuck on jewellery for my dress. I'm not sure which type of bracelet or earrings would look best. Also not sure if I need a necklace or should just go without. Thoughts would be much appreciated

Anyone worn this dress or seen it worn by another bride?

This dress is the lolita - by evie young. I'm struggling to find any photos of real brides wearing it for their weddings. Has anyone ever seen brides wearing it or one similar for their wedding? If so, would love to see photos

Which bridesmaid dress colour?

What do people think of each bridesmaid dress colour? I'm getting married in summer at a winery. All of my bridesmaids have different skin tones, some caucasian and others Asian or more tanned. Struggling to choose between dress colours, advice would be appreciated

Edit: my florals will be a bit lighter than these, more peach tones and some lighter pinks and cream with a little auburn orange too

Dress alterations - feeling nervous

I see so many brides on here who have issues with their dress alterations. I had to order my dress 1 size bigger than pictured so I will need it altered for sure. I also want a bustle but not sure if a wrist bustle or other bustle is better.

Anyone have advice on what I should ask for, for the alterations?

P.s please don't comment on bodice lining, I have already decided to leave as is because I like the sheer look better

Will I regret my fitted dress?

I tried this dress on and loved it, felt that it suited me so much!! Ended up purchasing and felt excited about it. Until some friends started talking about having their "bridal moment" in their a line or ballgown dresses and how they would have regretted not having it.

Did anyone who went with a fitted gown regret this? Did you still feel bridal? Pics for reference

Will I regret going with fitted?

Hello brides, since choosing my fitted dress, I am worried now that I'm going to feel like I missed out on my "a line" or "ballgown" bridal moment. Friends getting married keep talking about this and how they want a second look dress to have both. I really love my dress and only want to stick with one!!!

Any brides who wore fitted, did you regret this or were you happy with your choice and still felt super bridal?

Fresh vs artificial florals

Does anyone really notice the difference between fresh florals and high quality artifical florals? We can save around $1000 buying artificial and also get more florals included for the price. They would be real touch florals with fresh greenery included.

Second guessing my wedding dress choice

I said yes to my dress on the day!!! Absolutely loved it and still do love it. I've tried it on a second time and still felt great in it. My yes dress is the first 2 pictures.

When speaking with my fiancee, he mentioned that he isn't a fan of strapless dresses. He thinks they can sometimes make people look too top heavy with too much emphasis on shoulders. I haven't told him that I'm wearing a strapless dress, but now I'm worried he won't like it. Do you think the dress makes me look top heavy?

Have shared some photos of other dresses I tried with straps for comparison purposes

Styling - bridesmaid dresses with flowers

I love the bridesmaid dress colour and really want to go with this. I also love flowers in orange/autumn tones. Does it go with the bridesmaid dress I've chosen or should I change the colours of the flowers?
