325kW Supercharger rate limited to ~135kW?

2025 Macan Electric 4 base model. Initial battery 🪫 SoC = 13%, Outside ambient temp 🌡️= 80F, initial battery temp 🌡️= 86F. Porsche Route Planned to a 325kW Tesla Supercharger to ensure battery preconditioning (even though it was already in the optimal range) only to get 135kW peak. What gives? Is this a limitation when using the NACS to CCS2/combo adapter?

I did notice a Model 3 pull up next to my stall so perhaps that could be the cause but my understanding is the green bolt ⚡️= charging infrastructure is matching what the vehicle is requesting, so would that rule out power sharing?

What is the max rate you’ve pulled at a Supercharger station?

Thanks!

OvaEasy Eggs = yuck!, any better alternatives?

Hi! 👋 New to the sub, but have always been a “prepper” by personality/nature.

I recently looked into getting powdered eggs for morning breakfast scrambled eggs use (for the convenience & long shelf life as a dried good VS the (fake) liquid egg substitutes which require refrigeration). I’m currently in a testing phase via “Prepping for Tuesday” use but it seems most companies want to sell you huge quantities & don’t sell any sample / smaller quantity packs.

That is, except for OvaEasy brand. I bought a pack of the “Egg Crystals” egg powder & tried it with one of those “Just Crack an Egg” single-serving cups & it was awful (both taste & texture-wise)! - possibly even worse than when I used the liquid egg substitutes.

_Q: Is there anything better out there? or is this as good as it’s going to get for powdered eggs?_ (I ask this after seeing (independent?) Arguson Farms taste powdered egg taste test videos but they only sell in larger (more expensive) quantities & don’t seem to sell smaller sample sizes. I’ve also read that they are falsely claiming very long shelf life on some of their other products without any sort of desiccants or proper mylar bag packaging)

My taste comparison benchmark I’m aiming for is those Jimmy Dean “Simple Scrambles” - which I believe contain a real egg vacuum sealed in a (nitrogen charged?) plastic cup (similar to those pre-packaged coffee/espresso pods). (An even higher goal would be in an emergency scenario to be able to make scrambled eggs like they do at Waffle House, but perhaps that might be pushing it! - I think their secret for their creamy eggs is all the different oils they use & the high temp cooking)

Note, I’ve read of other suggestions, ex:

  1. freezing (cracked?) eggs - but no idea what the lifetime of that is, I assume that is shorter than the amount of time one would have electricity to run a fridge & maybe

  2. raising hens/quails - but I would not be able to do that living in a tiny condo in the city.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!

Boost broken / account limit?

Have had Boost for a while & have appreciated its benefits, recently tried to add a new checking account under Credit > Manage Boost, +Add Institution but when you tap on it you just get screens that advertise it & it just goes back to the list of current institutions. I currently have 4 accounts monitored, is this why? ie: is there a limit on how many accounts you can add?

Users editing other people’s comments?? / comment editing security

Recently noticed a (**non-admin**) user (call them A) Clone (I think) a ticket with user B’s comments, edit user B’s original ticket’s comments & the cloned ones to say something different!

The original ticket at least shows user A’s name & timestamp when you hover over the “Edited” label in the comment, but not the actual text change in the audit trail.

On the Cloned ticket, there is zero audit trail info on the edits & if you hover over the “Edited” label, it just shows a timestamp with a blank “by” attribution.

How is this even possible?? This seems like a HUGE security issue if people are able to impersonate others with no audit trail either.

Is this just a permission lockdown issue? If so, how would this be locked down so one can only edit one’s _own_ comments?

Weird & creepy voice changer usage by offshore reps?

I’ve noticed over the last year or so whenever I call in & speak to a rep, it sounds like they are using this weird sounding voice changer filter (vocoder?) which makes the agents’ speech have a very “watery”, choppy & un-human attribute which makes it hard to sometimes understand. It also just sounds plain creepy.

Am I the only one noticing this?

I don’t understand why this is necessary, even for Filipino call centers where their English is perfectly fine & understandable.

Can Xfinity please stop doing this?

Thanks

Porsche EVs: Can Mercedes (ChargePoint HPC) Stations be setup with Plug & Charge?

The convenience of not having to fumble with your phone or Chargepoint key fob card at Electrify America stations is nice, but their prices can be more expensive VS competitors. They also don’t have time of day discounts (like Tesla Superchargers & many other networks), & prices seem to have recently gone up.

I ask as I recently decided to try out charging (a 2025 Porsche Macan Electric) at a Mercedes (ChargePoint HPC) Station & the EV station experience was probably hands down the best I’ve had to date (if I had to envision an EV station of the future, this would be it!)

Porsche also already partners with Chargepoint in the My Porsche app.

So I have to wonder can Mercedes (ChargePoint HPC) Stations be setup with Plug & Charge? (perhaps by installing the Mercedes app?)

Thanks!
