I’m trying to hard to contact customer service which is a simple phone call to resolve my issue and they want me to “ask AI” or chat with a bot that doesn’t work
what is the customer service number most people use??? Why is this so hard??
house sitting for my cousins who just left this morning. I hooked my laptop and phone up to the wifi and about an hour later it stopped working on everything even their TV. all the devices are connected to it and just say no internet. I rebooted the box nothing changed
i don’t have the log in/account info and they might not see my messages til tomorrow. If I call rogers with their name, phone number and address will rogers reconnect it? or is this just an outage and I should wait? I’m in Toronto
I try to avoid the Eglinton line on the underground part because the heavy mold smell triggers me … but came down to help an old lady since itd too hot to walk her 10 mins across the street to the accessible entrance…and the floor is wet (despite it not raining) cause they gave up on running those fans to hide the construction failure 😭
Posting this to warn anyone who took the 87/64 yesterday. my coworker took videos of an adult roach running around the back on a bus in and out of the cracks until at least 12:30pm and it was not taken out of service despite multiple reports
if you see a roach on the bus, tell the driver and try to get a video for proof incase you see the bus continuing service. The buses are meant to be pulled off route for investigation and to be sprayed it’s supposed to be protocol
the drivers can not decide to take the bus off route so unfortunately they can’t do anything if control doesn’t remove the bus. The neglect is not on the part of the driver
40 minutes ago I was dropping my little cousin and her friends off for a birthday party in the east end. Suddenly in a split second a brawl breaks out infront of us. Bawtty cheeks everywhere, no one wore a belt. The kids started screaming like it’s the funniest thing they ever saw. It was like the FIFA game brawl Sunday. None of the kids took a video but I know nuff people saw cause they both jumped out the cars infront of a bus and multiple cars including me passed. It was whole brawl in the rain at oconnor between that broadview bend and pape

me and my friend ran in loblaws so I could get my aunt hot table food. while I got the food, I told my friend to buy me gushers 3 for 9.99 and she came back with $6.45 when my change should be around $8.70
was told by customer service that even though all gushers are on the same sale it “only counts if you buy all products in the same flavour”…even Gatorade. idk if this is common but if I didn’t notice I wouldn’t have got my proper change back. I didn’t even buy the hot table food I just left after getting a toonie back. what an evil conglomerate
neglecting your ward as a city councillor should make you ineligible to run for mayor
I spent yesterday volunteering at a Mother’s Day event and we got into the topic of councillors running for mayor. I don’t live in the ward it was in but am familiar with the councillor and was open to positive opinions of the councillor. there was none. while the event was good it was so sad to hear the women exposing how bad their councillor is and how disrespectful it is he’s running for mayor
“well if they are so bad why are they voted in” is something I see about a lot of bad councillor discussions online…there is endless ways they get votes without being good at their job. we see this in all levels of gov everywhere. winning votes doesn’t make them good councillors and their actual actions are either lacking or garbage
if a councillor has a horrible record of legitimate neglect of their ward, they will only be the same as mayor. many people voting won’t do the background check and assume just them being councillor means they might be a good mayor….while the person was never even a good councillor
advice for city councillors who want to run: the best campaign is being good at the job you already have being a city councillor. If you aren’t already doing that find shame and start caring about the community YOU are supposed to care about. the community will actually support you instead of asking “why are you running for mayor???” In your comments and exposing you. Stop wasting money on your ads and photo/video ops and be a better person!
