I've been wanting a wild-type gourami for soo long lol. Finally found a wild thick lip! He's currently in an isolation net in my 10gal, he'll have a mini pond to himself once that finishes cycling

I have this pond with dumbo guppies but the males slowly disappeared one after another. There's no bodies anywhere and only the males are affected. Givej the main difference between the male and females is the long flowy fins slowing them down and their flashy colours i'm like 90% sure something is eating my guppies (most likely one of the massive house geckos running around the house coz there's a full breeding colony of them somewhere). There's a ton of babies so at least i don't have to get more but i'm quite frustrated with the resulting lack of colour

My lfs has this one random livebearer in with the otos and honey gouramis. There isn't a tag for him anywhere, and he's definitely not a guppy or endler. Can't figure out what he is, but he's cute

I've got a decently heavily planted low tech 10gal, running for abt 5 months now. JBL AquaBasis+ with 2" sand cap. My filter (Sunsun XBL-300) started leaking yesterday so i'm gonna replace it for smt better, looking for suggestions.

Currently my options are:

Fluval C2

Eheim Pickup 160

Oase EcoFlow

Shiruba XB-303

Anyone can comment on or suggest other filters? Note i'm only a schooling student so i can't afford fancy canisters

P.S. i dont know what flair to put, i dont see a filtration flair

They don't tell you how fast lilies produce pups and floating leaves

Saw this dude in with the sparkling gouramis (and one random croaking) and he immediately stoof out. His fins seem more reddish, less iridescence and lacks the upper spotted band, immediately i was thinking he might be a schalleri? I know they're kidna rare, am i trippin or is this really a schalleri

Got some Platinum Red-tail Dumbo-ears for my mini pond today, was always scared of guppies coz of potential health issues but was too drawn to these ones so got 2 pairs

I don't have clove oil. Any suggestions on how to euthanise?

Nymphaea potamophila 'Peru Puerto Maldonado'. I love it but it's a bit out of hand lol. 5 pups in the span of one month. Plus the other 5 pups i took out last month that's 10 in total. And i also have a huge N.lotus as well

So apparently Tropica released this thing last year or smt, i'm wondering if they smh really did discover a method to dose carbon in liquid or is it just glutaraldehyde and they just slapped a label and pump on it?

Got me a Begonia kingiana and sp. Julau yest, I love these things now, might go back to the shop coz the owner was propping nice ones and selling them quite fairly priced(feel like i shulda gotten the Rouge Var and Snow Cap Var as well). Probably not the best options given i'm kinda new to begonias (forgot to water my dracopelta, currently growing one i found as a weed)

I just bought this nice baby hoya (only 4 dollars!) and i'm wondering what variety it is. I think it's a carnosa variety, but the shop owner forgot the name. He did say it had yellow flowers tho. Thoughts?
