Latest big print! 12hr 35min! I'm loving this machine!

This is a follow-up to yesterdays post about my duck! My scale is busted, so I can't verify weights, but the slicer says the totals, print and waste/tower are under 300 grams; 180 for the print and 95-ish for the rest, but I'm not sure. The file is on the Printables site and Snapmaker is definitely giving the Prusa printers a run for their money!

The 2nd print on my new U1 and I'm overjoyed! About 5 hours total!

This little dude is a creation by K3DPrint over on Patreon (no, I'm not them). But he was the 1st print I did on my Bambu P2S with the AMS 2 Pro setup and it wound up being the thing that pushed me into ordering the Snapmaker! The P2S took around 13 hours total and produced as much waste (or more) as the print weighed! Needless to say, this one did not!

I'm currently doing this model on the U1 right now and I've got 9hrs left. I'll post an update with pics and info when it's finished!

I just joined the club! Order placed today, just the straight U1, nothing else yet

What are some things that the community feels are 'must haves' after the purchase? I know that I'll want to get the top before too long. Any input would be welcome! Looking forward to seeing much less filament going in the waste bin!

Smallest print of the ubiquitous benchy! .2mm 3rd party nozzle.

Found the 'Micro-Benchy' on MakerWorld and thought it would be a good test print for the .2mm nozzle I picked up! Turned out ok! (No affiliate links, I'm not that popular!)

First print with the new AMS 2 Pro

This duck came from K3DPrint, from Patreon. It's a paid model and it turned out so cool! (Just fyi; I'm not K3DPrint, nor am I affiliated with them, I just like the duck!) It took 12hr 45min to print and produced a metric butt-ton of poop, but I like it!

I've been on a lot of the 3d prints webpages, looking for 'maybe some weekend' ideas and one of the ones I found was this one! I had a bunch of fans and thought it would be a pretty cool project! It just got shoved into the 'this weekend' box, because of this ad (which is the 2nd pic)!

That's basically a $395.00 (!!) version of that 3d print! I've got to do it now!
