Is Brooklyn Kyo dojo still open?
I was interested in trying out Kyokushin at Brooklyn kyokushin karate dojo but never got a response from
them. Wondering if it’s still open and if I should just stop by in person.

Hello, I’m in Data analytics/Economics currently. I’ve been wondering what are some careers I should look into. Lately I’ve heard a lot about Wealth management. Thank you
Ive been looking into Wealth management and investment banking lately.
Hello, I’m an economics major. Confused on where to start looking for an internship and what title to even look for. Also is it too late to lend a winter internship? Thank you
Hello, I’m a data analytics/economics major. Confused on what type of internships I should pursue? I'm currently trying to figure out what job titles I should be searching for if I want to work in banking. What internships would be the most useful? Are there any other roles I should be targeting?
What’s the best way to lend an entry level job like a teller or associate banker? What other position names besides the 2 I named are entry level? Thank you.
Hello, I’m 19 and wanted to switch from 10 years of taekwondo into a full contact sport. Kyokushin seems like the real deal. I love that it keeps the martial art atmosphere with the gi and hard conditioning. However, I hate the fact that I’d have to learn kata from 0, when patterns were already my least favorite thing about tkd. Maybe in this case Kyo is not for me then, but again I love the karate culture. Opinions?
I finally paid the semester tuition just last week and finally was able to register for classes late. It cleared my balance until today, I received an email from bursar office saying that now I have a balance of $3,100 which is due by august 20. What could this be? and Bursar office is not answering my email.
How do you perform Fard Wudu? And is ur wudu valid if you didn’t cover ur awrah?
When and how do i make Dua and can I do it in english? Is it best to make it right before you finish your salah or after? also i’m confused because people make videos like “this dua will 100% be answered” and it’s in Arabic with a specific wording. Can it be anything i think of myself?
What are some salah nuances that most typical guides don’t explain? Like when do you have to recite quietly and when aloud?
Also another question is when do i raise and do i raise my index finger at all while saying tashuhud?
Also, In the Masjid everyone seems to pray differently, some people don’t raise their hands while saying Allahu Akhbar when going into ruku, some people don’t stick out their index finger during tashuhud at all, some people put their fingers to stick their ears out while saying Sami Allahu liman hamidah. Is it difference of opinions on praying or is it just people doing it differently?
Can I pray by myself if it’s the proper time for that salah? When I came for Jummah, i saw people praying on their own before sitting down, are they praying dhurh?
How comfortable are they? How do they feel when working out/running? Do they slip off easily? Overall are studio pros a better option?
1. Do i say taawwudh every single rakat before surah al Fatiha? Or just once?
2. Do i say tashuhud only every 2nd rakat? For example in Isha i say it 2nd and 4th rakat. And in maghrib only once? because there’s 3 rakat.
3. Does the surah after Al Fatiha has to be related to worship? Is it fine to repeat the same one every time? Do i have to repeat it after every surah al fatiha in every rakat?
Can someone tell me fighters with a legit tkd background and not the ones who just did it sometime as a kid? Pettis, Ben Henderson etc those typa guys
When i spar with women and i go for the body, sometimes I hit their breast so i try to avoid it. But how does it really feel to yall?
I majored in Data Analytics / Economics because I just had to choose something and I have taken Python / Excel classes in HS.
Is it worth sticking to it if I really have no interest in it? My friends say I might as well do software engineering if I don’t have a thing for data analytics. Plus I really don’t know much about any coding languages or softwares needed, beyond intro classes
I’m as confused as a 19 year old could be right now. I guess I’m just looking for advice and how did you guys deal and figure it out, when you were this age.
