I get it we should all do what makes us happy but I feel like a loser for staying home during the holiday but the heat wave just makes me want to stay in the AC.

I seriously don’t understand how people are firing up the barbecue pit when it’s already almost 100° and sometimes more in places.

A friend of mine is traveling to Ireland with his family to meet extended family that he’s never met before.
What gifts should he bring?

He is traveling with his adult children they all want to show up with a gift in hand.

How long should it take to know if you love someone?

If me and my partner are going out for six months and we see each other once a week should we know that we love each other?

Should we be able to reciprocate this thought?Z
Should we know at one year mark?

And if you don’t know if you love someone at the one year mark like you can’t say it back, should one person in the relationship just give up?

Basically what the title says American family traveling to meet distant Irish relatives.

Neither side has met before, but connected through a DNA service.
What gives can be brought from America to Ireland that will be appreciated.
