what are the perks of double concentrating? why do people do it?
seems like a hard feat to me. you have to be pretty intentional about your courses

Current teachers teaching it are Katz, Galant, Hunsucker, Kushelman, Stoner, Paliy, Benito Fernandez de la Cigona, Paliu, Moullet, Heo. Would love to hear your experience and teacher recs!
i'm planning on concentrating in computer science, but have never coded anything in my life. i have absolutely no clue whatsoever. null.
has anyone done this. does it affect you when you're applying for internships? I'm not looking to apply for grad schools
Brown is reconsidering my offer given the drop in my grades. It’s already pretty late in the year and orientation starts in just a few weeks. I’ve already been assigned a roommate and paid my tuition. How likely am I gonna rescinded, or that I could be forced to take a gap year or placed on academic probation?
Got an email from admissions saying there’s been serious decline in my grades and they need an explanation. My grades include one C and two Bs, but they contain attendance and my grades dropped solely due to missing many classes. Should I make them aware of this? I don’t know how to proceed and am scared I am going to be rescinded. I’m terrified.
Note: I’ve had several things happen at once, including a dry eye issue, family health concerns, and a knee injury.
any experiences
So this guy asked me out on the last day of high school, and we went on a few dates after that. He's been proactive and caring and loves and cares about me (seemingly). The thing is, I never actually felt a connection with him. I think I was just so starved for social connection and love that I couldn't bring myself to say no. I latched onto the fact that someone cared about me that much, even though something was missing on my end.
Now we're doing long distance , and I dread every single phone call. I don't know how I let it get this far.
I think I need to break up with him, but I'm terrified of hurting him since he's put in so much effort and cares.
TLDR A few questions:
Any perspective helps, thanks.
it's annoying and I was wondering if there was an alternative to touch ID as sometimes it doesn't work. or even better if there is a way to get rid of it altogether.
Any thoughts or experiences
Any experiences or general comments on the overall community and whether it's actually "quiet" would be highly appreciated!
I'm fairly new into relationships. I'm an anxious person and am relatively scared about committing to a relationship. I've been on a few dates (having been asked out by the other party) and all the men have always asked me whether I've dated in the past year of if I've gotten together with anyone. Are they trying to figure out whether I'm in a relationship? It just always struck me as weird and caught me off guard.
Vague question, but I've always been super interested in comp sci but have never actually taken the first step. I'm thinking of pursuing this trajectory at Brown; It's a leap of faith and I'm wondering how big of a challenge this will be.
Incoming freshman at Brown. My actual academic grades haven’t dropped, but my class grade (consisting of mostly attendance and participation and work habits) have dropped to two Bs and a C. How concerning is this? Do they factor in class grades as well or are they solely concerned with academic grades? I’m really scared.

I’m in an income freshman at one of the ivy leagues. My current predicted IB score is 45. I’m wondering how many points do I have to drop for me to be rescinded?
I was told no more than 3. However, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make that.
