Update on new headlight housings and Sylvania LED ultra bulbs

WOW, what a MASSIVE difference in nighttime driving visibility. I feel like I can see the road almost as well as in daylight. The color of the light is really pleasing to me, it doesn't seem at all blue like the old headlight upgrades from 20 years ago. I'm actually concerned that I'm blinding other cars on the road, might need to adjust the beam height.

My only reservations about switching to the Sylvania LED ultras is that I had to cut the rubber boot around the bulb a bit to fit them in there. Really hoping I don't end up getting water inside. Time will tell.

Replaced my headlight housings (swipe for before)

This was easier than I thought it would be based on the videos I watched on how to do it. Got a good deal on the housings, about $370 shipped for both. All told took about 2.5 hours including 2 trips to autozone (one when I realized I got the bulbs for the facelift model and had to swap, once when the LED turn signals blinked too fast and I needed regular bulbs). For main bulbs I used the Sylvania LED ultras, we'll see how well they work in the dark in about an hour. This was long overdue and I'm very pleased with the visual difference in the front end.

Edit:spelling

Made English muffins for the first time

One is wonky because I just tried to shape the last of the dough into a disc rather than cut it. The bacon egg and cheeses I made on them were fantastic!

I had recently been thinking of the Precision controller I had for PS2 and how much I liked it. Decided I wanted one for Xbox since I've been getting into Phantasy Star Online again on Insignia. They aren't too expensive on ebay, around $30. Before pulling the trigger on one online, I decided to check my local game store.

Asked the owner, who I'm friendly with, if he had one. He said "hold on" and went into the back. Came back out with the controller pictured. The dongle was with it too! He told me I could just have it! What a dude. He said he didn't know if it worked.

Brought it home, cleaned it up (it was filthy), and tested it out. Only issue it seems to have is the start button requiring some extra force to register. I'll probably take it apart today and clean it thoroughly inside and out. Either way, I'm pumped.

Anyone else have experience with these controllers? They seem to be well regarded for 3rd party controllers.

I'm pleased that there doesn't seem to be an outline from the old badge. Took a surprising amount of solvent and elbow grease to get the old 3m tape off though.

I have this set of countach wheels that I'm never going to use. I don't have a countach and will never be able to afford one. I asked r/lamborghini about the value of these a while back and they said a mint set could go for up to $25k. Obviously these are not mint. To make matters worse, they're mismatched. 3 aluminum OZ wheels and one magnesium from earlier in production. I'm worried that if I list these there will be little demand due to all that I mentioned. Has anyone sold any high end luxury wheels on BaT and did you get what you were looking for?

Update: found a private buyer and made the sale. Thanks to u/pgregston and u/financial_tell_1160 for suggesting i find a lambo users group or parts supplier. I ended up reaching out to a US based lamborghini club and found a buyer in short order.

I've seen a few forum and reddit posts about replacing the seat covers. The photos in the reviews from Lseat.com look pretty decent in other people's spyders. I was only able to find one video of someone replacing their seat covers on a spyder by Mitch Dore, and I'm not sure he was doing it right. He was using zip ties instead of hog rings, and the covers looked pretty loose when he was done. Anyone have experience with the Lseat covers? Any nuggets of wisdom would be appreciated before I pull the trigger on a set.
