Put in TMR sticks and all new outside
This is a follow to my post about trying two aseparate sets of TMR sticks on my Xbox series x controller. The left stick would work at first then have server downward drift. It was requested I take the sticks out and show both sides of the board. Let me know if you see anything and have any advice. Thank you all for your help.
Hi I’m hopeful you can help me out. I have been soldering for a few months and I feel I’m getting better and better but this project is killing me. I replaced the original joystick module on my Xbox series x model 1914 controller with ginfull TMR sticks. Seemed to go well used a joystick solder head removal tool and a solder sucker to remove the solder. They seemed to work ok and then later I got severe downward stick drift on the left thumb stick. I thought maybe I just got a bad stick so I replaced them again using the same process and the same thing happened right away.
If it’s not the sticks is it something wrong with my soldering?
Something wrong with the board?
Is it fixable?
Any help is always appreciated.
Still learning does anyone have any ideas why all the lights aren’t working? Is it like old Christmas tree lights? If one goes out the chain goes out? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi,
I'm making a custom controller for my friends Birthday. I bought this one on eBay. I'm not familiar with ps5. Can anyone tell the model number so I can order the right parts for it. Any help is always appreciated.
They came with my led kit for Xbox series x controller. They weren’t in the video instructions
