Do any mods exist that redesign the fish sprites to make them look more like their real life counterparts? The vanilla ones are cute but I would like having some better ones
(drawing based on lake sturgeon, I don't think the vanilla one is based on a specific genus/species)
Working on a bat and I'm pretty happy with it so far but I've tried to make the patagium a handful of times and have just gotten a clipping nightmare that recolors the entire body when trying to texture
Big ol bat, attempted to model the pategium but that's a bit above my skill level right now. Hoping to eventually make some sort of big bat mount mod
I think it would be pretty cool if shortly after catching them they’d change to the duller colours they take on when dead in real life
(this is because their skin is pigmented with chromatophores, the same type of cell that lets things like octopus and chameleons change color! awesome, they need to be alive for it to function though 💔)
Quite rough at the moment but I’m pretty happy with it so far, I think the shape is recognisable enough as a carcharodontosaurid. Eye placement is a bit odd for visibility + it will be more stylised when I’ve slimmed it down enough to start adding features (ft. my PNSO acro that has been a very handy little reference)
Lame comments will be ignored, the overlap between furries and dinosaur enjoyers is heavy
is there some command or setting to fix this? it's not completely unplayable but it's annoying
