I got tickets for the insider showing on Dec 15 but in Row C… for those that know, can I genuinely enjoy the movie at this spot?
Now I also got tickets a week later with prime seats to watch it twice. But would watching my first viewing at Row C worth it or just wait the week?
I haven’t seen any news on this but the re-release is no longer one day only like previously announced. Starting August 16th, there will be showings for the following 7 days.
Thank god it’s officially extended now, I would have missed out if it were only one day.

I just finished up my first mursion simulation and honestly, it wasn't that bad. In fact, I actually enjoyed the experience! I definitely read up on others people experience and how awkward it can be which I 100% understand, given the avatars. However, going in knowing helped alot and I ended up doing better than I expected. A little too well, that I would sometimes trump the voice actors with my unexpected comments or questions lol
Overall, I enjoyed it and despite the simulations not 100% being accurate to real life scenarios, I definitely learned certain things I would not do or do again. This is my first time ever being in a classroom scenario as the teacher so everything was a learning experience for me.
Got these as a pair and it came labeled just as tropical plants. So far they've been great in outside in partial shade but want to make sure that's actually the correct spot for them. Also if I should repot would be helpful! Thanks.

I own both Lawrence of Arabia & 2001: A Space Odyssey, neither of which I have ever seen, but I have yet to watch them. I know I know I should have done so the moment I bought them but I feel like I need to find the right moment for them. Gotta get over that so I will be doing so soon!

Just finished seeing Superman to prepare for Supergirl. It’s been a year since I last watched it and idk what it was but it’s even better than I remember! Watched it from my 4K disc (if that matters) and this time around I appreciated every single scene and story beat more so this time as I got to fully focus on everything going on. I will always love the theater experience of any movie but sometimes it’s easy to miss lines of dialogue or even score due to crowd cheering etc. Like this movie encapsulates Superman as a character and its universe so well.
I know Supergirl won’t be anything like Superman and despite the reviews, I’m excited just to see a new DCU film and see where the overall Gods & Monsters chapter is heading!
Just me? Just realized I haven’t visited the beach in like 2 years. It’s not that I choose not to go but time has just passed that long without having gone. I need to go more often.
I occasionally do double-features solo and I make a plan days ahead with picking out the movies/times BUT I don’t book my tickets until mins before actual showtime.
Yesterday I went into my first showing and the next one was 5 mins after. At the moment I booked the first movie, I checked on how filled the second movie was going to be but the showtime wasn’t there anymore.
I ended up only watching one movie as all the other movies I would have liked to watch had showtimes hours after the first movie finished.
Do AMCs have the option to cancel showtimes if absolutely no one has booked a seat or can they also cancel if there a few tickets bought already?
This is the first time I decided not to purchase anything. While there were a few that I could’ve gotten, I wasn’t in a hurry to grab them as they are always on sale. Some titles were just not good deals at all or some titles are the same ones every time.
Hopefully, the upcoming Prime Day deals is better. And for sure getting some on the Criterion sale soon!
Most of these are repeated titles Please Rewind always includes in these types of sales but a few new ones are in there. Nonetheless, it is always great for new collectors!
What did you guys pick up?
I haven’t seen any of the Top Gun films and luckily, my go-to theater is showing both of them in Dolby & IMAX. The best part is that both of them have showings 2 hours apart so I am able to book tickets for each back-to-back. As soon as the first one finishes in Dolby, I’m going straight to the IMAX theater to watch Maverick!
SUCKS. Both got their rewards system revamped (???) and since then there’s little to no offers available… before the changes (???) there were at least a couple decent ones.
What restaurants, bars, stores etc. within walking distance of the new stations should we visit? Thanks!
