i just to patch up a SMALL spot (not worth popping a whole a can) so i can bolt down the antenna and install the headliner and not paint the whole roof now. blending around the antenna wouldn't be super ugly or bad if it at least had some fresh clear on it.

after running and lining up the antenna coax with it's finaly resting spot, it's 3+ feet too long, the fem end pops apart REAL easy and looks no harder to terminate than a TV coax other than soldering the one tiny piece. also looks like the factory did a shite job with the shield/drain wire.

anyways do car stereos need a specific ohm like CB or HAM or would whacking off a few feet make a difference or maybe even improve things?

didn't wanna bunch it up, kink and mash it in only to have it shredded by the sun roof or something.

with some many crap flash drives i could see having a faulty flash drive but i even have it on a nice sata SSD and that too becomes unbootable after so many uses. THAT or flashing on linux makes it non undateable on a windows machine.

anyone swapped steering wheels yet? thinking of putting a newer wheel with newer rubber and plastic and radio controls on to a 2004 i think there is a chance the splines and diameter are the same still.

i've been looking up the Micro Air Flex start, it's pricey as are most works good when it works but, it seems hit or miss. it seems B34 units had bad capacitors and firmware and thats been fixed, Micro Air was also bought out by private equity. i've seen in a few cases people suggesting alternatives but, lost the URL to the post so i figured i'd ask here, worst case I get Tomatoes lobbed at me.

unless there is an open source app. i will not use the ATT visual voicemail app and even if i wanted to i bought a non ATT phone and stripped it down plan open source android sans apps. (longer battery life)

so i assume im just stuck with it, unless their are other options for the disabled or impaired.

they all seem to be lower wattage likely due to being smaller speakers

i'm trying to swap speakers while the windshield is out, it's a tight fit in a 98 lesabre might as well do it now, and i plan on grading the head unit later

so far googling them some of them have good feed back, i also have heard good things about rockford fosgate from a friend who has some rockford amps. i'm not sure i care about price so much.

How does this work for folks, independents who don't have drivers license or stat IDs? I know slme people who have non state photo ID, especially those who don't drove or are disabled.

I see comments about needing photos ID for charge backs but how is thst so if you pay cash?
