Is this a part of Scleroderma?

I can’t find any info on it. It happens sporadically, it’s kinda new, always on the joints of my fingers, one at a time. They’re very painful and take forever to heal.
Btw- my fingers used to be much skinner and not red, especially on the knuckles. My hands get incredibly inflamed during ovulation week 🤷🏻‍♀️ then slowly return to “normal” once I get my period.

Help finding a new Seal/Chocolate Point in GA.

I had a seal point Siamese for 18 years; she was my heart and soulmate. I rescued her in 2009 from a dire situation, and she was the most perfect cat. I lost her 3 months ago, and I am absolutely lost and devastated without her.
I’m looking to hopefully rescue another seal point female kitten in the Georgia area. I’m in Central Georgia, but I am willing to travel.
So far, I have not had much luck looking through adoptable cat sites, which is why I am coming to the Reddit community for some help. Maybe somebody knows of a Siamese female kitten and who needs an extraordinarily loving home; she would have four male cat brothers (5yrs of age) to keep her company and protect her.
Also, I work from home, so she will always have a human companion.

This was my sweet little Ziva who passed. 💔❤️‍🩹

Need help with essentially all makeup, please?

Thank you to anyone who reads all of this and offers advice/help!!! ♥️ I love makeup, and I used to be good at it; however, I’ve definitely been out of the game for around at least a decade due to hospitalizations, surgeries, and recovery. I want to feel/look pretty again when I apply makeup.
Needless to say, most of my makeup is at least 10+ years old, with some stuff I still have from college and highschool (I’m now 37). I have finally found a good skin care regimen, which has been helpful.
My normal makeup consists of: foundation, eyeliner, mascara, chapstick. Here’s what I have (just FYI since I’m not posting a photo- I have a mix between an oval and heart shaped face, kinda leaning more towards the latter. I have very dark brown hair, dark brown eyebrows, olive green eyes and olive skin. Skin used to be super oily, but just recently it’s changed to combo & incredibly sensitive (I will break out if anything facial items contain hyaluronic acid 🤷🏻‍♀️):

•I do have foundation that’s maybe 5 years old (Elf: flawless satin foundation - no idea what satin foundation means, tbh). After my skincare sets, I use “Thank Me Later” color correcting. I have Lupus so my face can be red, needing a foundation that will cover any unwelcome redness. Then, I use Neutrogena “Ultra Sheer Dry Touch” sunscreen, then the foundation. That’s all I do for my face. I’ve never been a blush fan. ((I saw something by Neutrogena… I think it’s “Sensitive Skin Serum Foundation, Healthy Skin” and it said it was buildable)? My prior foundation was MAC, studio fix, which I loved, but at 37 it’s too dry for my face. I’m just starting to get a couple of fine lines that I don’t want/need anything bringing them out 🙃
•I just got new mascara. I’ve been using it since my modeling days, so I’m quite attached to this one, it works wonders: “Maybelline Mascara Great Lash” w/a curved brush.
•I love MAC eyeshadow (I have black, neutral brown, plum purple w/minimal sparkles in it). Someone gifted me a lovey Urban Decay packet of eyeshadows, which I still have. Open to any kind of eyeshadow, just not stuff that flakes everywhere when you put it on. Also, I have no clue if it’s in or not, but I love any kind of a dark eye, always have & always will. PS- I’ve had these eyeshadows for 15yrs, though lol🤫
•All of my eyeliners are black. I’m new to liquid eyeliner, which I’m loving. I have “Maybelline line stiletto”, and just today I got “Maybelline tattoo studio gel pot,” which I have a feeling I am not going to be a fan.
•I have no idea what to do with eyebrows anymore. I used to have an eyebrow pomade, but it looked incredibly fake & took up a lot of time. I will either use my Dior eyebrow pencil (super old but works great), or I will lightly use my MAC black eyeshadow for my eyebrows.
•Lips: EOS lip balm.
•Contouring & Highlighting: I have no idea how to do it, let alone find products that work with my skin. — I used to watch YouTube videos by Kandee, but that’s been a while.

TIA for reading all of this & any kind of advice and help, or opinions, that you guys may have to offer. I would really appreciate the help! 🤍

Thoughts? (Please be kind)

[[Edit to add: THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE who posted kind comments. It means a lot to a dress newbie! I’ve decided to keep the dress & will look for new shoes as some suggested, as well as a necklace. Thanks for the fashion advice! :) ]]
First time ever posting here. — I saw this in the store and thought it looked cute for the rest of summer and into September (with a light jacket - still hot here during that time). I had no idea it was a snug dress, something I’ve never worn before… not exactly thrilled with how it looks in the back 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was hoping you all could give your overall thoughts, please? And, what I might look for in the future… I don’t exactly own many casual dresses (right now I’m leaning towards returning this one).

Curiosity for a new Seal/Chocolate point Siamese

I lost my 18 year old little soulmate, Ziva, nearly 10 weeks ago, and I miss her dearly. We did everything together, and I work at home so we were really bonded. I rescued her when she was abandoned by a neighbor, she was my first Siamese, and I fell head over heels in love with her.

I have temporary cardiomyopathy due to grief. I know I want another Siamese (Seal or Chocolate), but I’m not quite ready yet.

I’ve always rescued my kitties or they’ve been divinely put in my path, and I’d like to continue that; however I might be open to a breeder if necessary, but I don’t know anything about that word.

Where do I even begin looking for my next Siamese (I live in GA.)?
Really appreciate any help.
TIA.

(F) Siamese kitten needs a unique, not overused, name. Help?

7 weeks ago I lost my little soulmate Siamese cat of 18 years; she was also my therapy cat. We were inseparable, and I miss her terribly 💔 Her name was Ziva.
I like unique names, and when I named her back in 2009 hardly anyone had heard of the name.

I’m looking for another unique name that’s not overly used as I might be adopting another Siamese kitten who needs a home (female). Just a personal choice: I don’t like naming my cats traditional pet names.
I tend to like Eastern European, Scandinavian, Slavic, Thai, Hebrew, and especially mythological… open to anything interesting, though.
My list so far: Amara; Freyja; Tova; Sage; Mila; Nova; Vera.

The 3 Siamese kittens that will be up for adoption soon were left in a box, in the heat, behind a Walmart next to a dumpster… just for context.
I haven’t seen them in person yet (these were the photos I was sent) as they’re still in foster homes… they’ll be ready for their homes soon.

I’m tired of scrolling through baby name sites that drain my phone battery and ad spams me like crazy. I’d love to hear what you guys have to offer? :)
TIA

Am I allowed to ask thoughts for a Siamese kitten name?

I lost my little soulmate of 18yrs; she was a rescue Siamese…

She passed on May 17th of this year. I’ve cried every single day since. For the first month, I didn’t sleep but an hour a day, and I had extremely severe panic attacks several times a day. She was my heart, my soul. She helped me get through the passing of my dad when I was 20 yo, she was there for me through all of my lifesaving 16 surgeries, she saved my me, she was always next to me, she always greeted me when I got home, for 18 years we slept together… I’m a wreck. I don’t know what to do. I’m not normally this way. It just hurts so deeply.
My dr Rx me with “broken heart syndrome”. It’s been 6 weeks today since I lost her, and I just feel awful. I want her back, but I know she is in a better place, and I feel awful for even thinking that I want her back, because I want her to be happy and healthy as she so dearly deserves.
I’m 38 yo. I’ve never not had a cat in my life. When I was born, my mom let her 2 cats sleep in my crib with me, and they were so gentle, watching over me. They followed me around the house protecting me. I was 5 yo when I got my own cat, a little Tortie, and she slept by head every night, we had tea parties, she just let me do whatever as long as we loved each other. — Idk what’s going on with me right now, but I am having the most difficult time with the loss of Ziva (the one whom I just lost).
Does anyone have recommendations on how to lessen this pain? Lessen the anxiety? Lessen the panic attacks? Just overall lessen the grief? I’m out of ideas. I’m so lonely at night especially. I try watching tv, I can’t concentrate. I try reading. I try doing things on my Calm app. I try yoga. I try moving to different rooms.
I miss her.

Help, please? TW 1st sentence. Any advice would be so kindly appreciated.

TW: Near end of life 😔 I just need a tad help, my question is towards the end regarding food. ***MODS***, please don’t be so quick to judge and pull this. Please, read the post before/if you decide to do anything.
My little soulmate, Ziva (18/19yrs old), needs help. Yes, I’ve contacted my vet; **I’d simply like to hear from cat parents who love their Siamese and would do anything for them.** I’m writing this to you as she lays purring in my arms 😻😿 I don’t know how much time I have left with her, and if I have to make that most difficult decision to help her transition, I will. However, she’s not there yet.

She still enjoys her life and has quality of life. I’m extremely grateful that I work from home and have the ability to look after her & be with her 24/7; sadly, that’s what she requires.

Nevertheless, within this past week her food intake has gone down significantly. I did have 2 different companies at my house as I absolutely needed repairs done, so I don’t know if the stress of that can be affecting her appetite. She is a Siamese, after all, and quite the momma’s girl at that. When I rescued her, she had major PTSD and had to be taught just normal cat behavior (and it took her a little time to understand that it was safe to eat); she was just seriously abused at my neighbors house. — Over the past few weeks, she has lost weight is quite skinny. She wants to eat, but she’ll just take a few bites of food and be done.

She refuses to eat canned cat food; I’ve tried it all, and she’s not a fan. She likes her crunchy food. I finally found Delectables for Senior Cats; however, in the last few days she’ll only have a small amount of it.
What I had been doing is mixing smelly cat treats with nutritious cat food, she has 4 bowls to choose from and one of which is kitten chow mixed with cat treats. I’m trying to get any kind of nutrition into her as possible.
She LOVES temptation cat treats. So, I break those up and put them into her food, and she will pick all of them out and leave the food behind.
When she has bad days, I give her a handful of temptation cat treats, and she eats them like a vacuum cleaner. — I got on Walmart last night and ordered some temptation cat food (seafood), and I also saw they made some kind of wet/lickable food that I bought for her to try, in addition to her favorite treats.

Side note —> [[She’s on medication: gabapentin (pain, and it stimulate her appetite), and Zofran for when she gets nauseous. I have Onsior on had, and that provides a lot of relief, but in addition to her having cancer, she has IBD and the Onsior makes her quite sick. I have some Prednisone on hand, which I haven’t tried as she’s so extraordinarily sensitive and reacts paradoxically to most meds.]]

Main question here: can I just feed her the cat treats she loves so much as that’s about the only thing she’ll eat? Of course, I’ll still try everything else I’ve been doing, and I really hope this new stuff I ordered will be of help.
Secondly: if anyone has literally any recommendations, I would love to hear what you have to say, and it doesn’t have to be just related to cat food/eating issues.

I apologize for the rambling and some unnecessary details… this is not easy for me to write about. I’m also beyond burnt out, so please excuse any grammatical errors. There’s a lot of serious issues going on in addition to this. I sincerely appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read my post. Thank you ❤️‍🩹

Here’s a photo of her watching cat YouTube.

Hi guys- my AC all of a sudden started blowing hot & had an odd/burning odor to it. I tried to shut the unit down, but it would not turn off. I was finally able to shut everything down through the breaker; I also switched out the batteries to the thermostat itself.
I flipped the breaker back on, and I’m still having the same issues as stated above (the smell has at least gone away); however, I still can’t get it to shut off from it designated location. It’s a second story HVAC, if that means anything to anyone.
Any general help, insight, or advice would be greatly appreciated before having to contact my AC person — thank you.
