Tori-ma Kashi Kuningan

Tori-ma Kashi Kuningan

45k - Chicken

15k - Butter Rice

8k - Ocha

Big chicken thighs, crispy skin, juicy meat (and very very hot). Served with sambal (to me not spicy but for my friends who have no spice tolerance it is) and some sort of white sauce, I forgot what was in it, adds creaminess. Butter rice is standard.

For women, the size of the chicken might be a bit too much, a few of my girl friends didn't finish theirs despite the meal being our dinner and they haven't eaten yet since lunch.

No utensil but plastic gloves were given. Ocha is not refillable.

There's around 5 seats with a long bar-like table on one side, and 5 tables of two for indoor (AC not really cold but still ok) and 2 tables of 3 outdoor.

Kitchen looks small, vent used an exhaust fan and one side window open with 2-3 people operating the kitchen and 2 in the cashier area. Overall space is small but crowded when I went.

Restaurant is located in next to a sushi bar, and the building is tucked in between tall buildings. There is sufficient parking lot and it is close to Denpasar TJ St.(650km, 2 mins by bike and 10 mins by foot) and Kuningan LRT St (Around 1.8 km, 5 mins by bike and 25 mins by foot)

Will I go again? Probably, but not too soon. I do recommend it though.

Recommend me music like Wonho's Don't Wake Me Up?

Basically "noise music" that leans into more for clubbing music. Electro, EDM, afrobeat, anything that gives that a pumping feeling, that made you wanna jump around lolol. Exclude title tracks of SKZ, ATEEZ and MEOVV cos I already put them in my playlist. GG, BG, solos, indies, throw me all of them!

Suitable work for a latecomer?

Hello, F28 here, went to college late and was stuck for years until now. My degree is in graphic design, and I do had previous freelancing and internship in design, but since I have the opportunity to apply wherever I want (cold of course), what do you think would suit for an ADHD women?

I'm on the inattentive, and am suspecting a mix of autism there due to my constant sensitivity to sound, light, and placement of things. In my previous internship (advertising agency), I ended up handed small/mundane things (it seemed like they babied me as the end of my contact was ending), and in my freelance, I somehow can handle it since it was one brand.

I'm fine starting from the bottom, the shame of not being able to keep up is somewhat masked cos I have a babyface so people couldn't guess my age much.

Went for lunch and I ordered the cold menu with a fried side. Went to Anbai a few times but always orders their sukiyaki set (I'm a big fan of sukiyaki) or skewers.

Soba is good, I'm not really a noodle person but I could never say no to cold noodle dishes. The dipping is also delish, suits my tongue that doesn't like super strong flavours. The tempura assortment had 2 pcs of ebi furai, a piece of white fish, two types of mushrooms, a shiso leaf and an eggplant. Pity there's no sweet potato/ubi or lotus root cos I love them in tempura too. Its nice and crunchy, typical, and the ebi pieces was nice and fat.

It's very pleasant overall and I'm probably biased cos it was hot af outside. Also like that it's usually subdued (even if its crowded it doesn't feel so noisy).. not unlike many spots in Blok M 😔

Iirc price including a glass of ocha was 150k. Reasonable price imo but ik there prob are more cheaper places with similar taste.

Have self esteem issues that ended me settle for less, and am in a period where I don't approach anyone. But of course this makes me feel lonely, and loneliness is a recipe for disaster because it makes you crave. And ended up being 'easy'. Not to mention my reaction are too obvious sometimes.

Fixing the self esteem is one thing, but is there any other solutions to perhaps deescalate this? I want to settle, but not with someone who is just good with their words.
