I really wanna know this because almost no one in my friend circle is left and I am constantly been pressured by them to hookup as many hot men approach me after I moved to Bangalore. Also, after turning 29 I have suddenly an urge to be with man and worst part is that I am currently single.

If you ask me why I am still a virgin so it mixture of lots of things. Firstly till 25 I had no urge I thought I was asexual then I also have PCOS so my ovulation differs everytime so getting pregnant scared me as I saw my bestfriend going through trauma of abortion even though they used protection. I was also quite judgmental in my early 20s as my family brainwashed me into thinking premarital sex is a sin.

Current I feel I have no time left for dating but I really crave physical intimacy and when people get to know I am still a virgin they do not believe at all which also I find furious.

I really want to know does any girl exist who is virgin in her late 20s and how do you guys cope with it?

With so many dowry cases in news these days I got reminded of an incident with my cousin. She was 31 last year and denied a guy after courtship for 5 months and roka and she was almost boycotted by her own family.

So my cousin is good looking, ambitious woman working in IT since last 10 years with 35LPA. My uncle got an rishta from common friends and guy was of similar background and package. My sisterr liked the guy a lot, he was very progressive in his views like feminist and really a gentleman.

Now roka was done and it was intimate and wedding talks started happening. Guy's family told they would host 2 functions which are tilak & reception. Our family had to host engagement, sangeet & main marriage function. All expenses will be beared by families hosting that function which my uncle agreed eventually even though our family will have major expenses.

Now with every passing day demands increased, like they told to give 200g gold to my cousin sister for wedding and they told it will be hers and we should consider then my uncle agreed as they told it is custom and my sister was also told to abide since it will her jewellery only. Now just about when venues were about to be booked guy's mother started hinting towards gifting a fortuner to guy in tilak ceremony, they justified it by saying that guy has already house loan on his name and booked flat in which my cousin will live and only vehicle is pending for a comfortable lifestyle so that should be good if we gift it as they were getting rishtas offering gifts.

My uncle was stressed and planning to sell some inheritance to fulfill but then my sister got to know, she thrased the guy and he said he will negotiate with his parents but his parents seemed very greedy so my sister trusted her gut and broke the marriage. Everyone tried to gaslight but she did not budge, my uncle even stopped talking to her for months. My cousin told the guy called and started crying but my sister told she cannot risk her life with a family like that.

Cut to now few weeks ago we got to know from some common family that they guy along with his family are booked for domestic violence and divorce case because demands were not stopping after guy got married to a girl. Although the guy did not abused but he was spineless and did not went against his mother. His mother wanted her to give salary, slapped her many times and was also torturing for more dowry. My cousin sister is so relieved today and engaged to the sweetest guy ever and both are splitting the wedding expense equally and my jiju told in fun banter that he wants ps5 in dowry and my sister told she wants dyson airwrap lol.

So pls girls don't give into pressure, marry late or not marriage at all is much better than being ended as a corpse. The demands are not going to stop, stop buying grooms!

So my friend just got engaged via AM setup and I was invited, the guy proposed her on stage with emotional speech stating how they are lucky to find each other in AM and they are each other's first love. Now the most funny thing is my friend was in 7 year long relationship with guy from college, did live in setup with the ex, also had a abortion and was supposed to marry her ex but he dumped her because eventually his parents did not agree due to caste. I confronted my friend and she told this AM guy is very good on paper, has generational wealth, works in FAANG and very good in nature which I can attest so she lied and feels guilty because guy told her he has never dated anyone and still a V.

Now I was just going through her engagement pictures some days after and saw the profile of guy and thought to stalk it and saw my ex colleague is mutuals so I was intrigued how he knew the guy and I am close to him so I pinged him. He told they have mutual friends and he know this guy's roommate. Now comes the twist he tells me this guy is renowned fboi in Bangalore dating scene. He has never had relationship but only hookups. He would often bring girls to flats or go to hotels with them and boast how his body count is 20 plus even though he is not that good looking but has immense charisma.

He also told that this guy used to tell that he will have fair share of fun in his 20s and then marry a simple beautiful girl who has no past from AM whom he can respect as his mother of child. Now I cannot stop laughing on two bunch of liars getting married. The girl is totally marrying for his money and the guy is for looks of my friend and this really opens my eyes about to the extent people lie in AM setup.

So I am 30F and just contemplating to create my profile on matrimonial apps, I know it's little late but I was working in Milan and recently shifted to India back and now I feel I am ready for marriage.

The things is I am okay with most of scenarios which guy wants these days like equal financial contribution, household chores, dressing modestly, staying with in laws etc but I have just one demand and it is that I will not bear child. Don't take me wrong I like kids it's just I don't want to ruin my body and go through dreadful process of pregnancy with all that labour pain, hormonal imbalance, weight gain, it literally scares me and I feel jitters in my body thinking about it. I am totally okay with adoption, surrogacy etc if my husband wants a child or to remain childfree too as it doesn't bother me.

Honestly speaking I don't have any bit of maternal ounce in me, yeah I mean children are so joyful but they are so much work and may be I can have them but I will not bear them via my own body, it's too much for my body yarr.

I don't know my decision will never change in life so I want to check with men of the sub will they okay with such a girl in AM? I have no idea about Indian men since long and my sister says scene here is still regressive and I will face hurdle so just wanted to check because this is a big factor for me.
