The only available copy I could find was on eBay, and it arrived in its original shrinkwrap! I'm so stoked to have this collection.

For the twelve other people on this sub who are unfamiliar with Fulci, go have a listen.

Hey dudes, don't forget, this masterpiece was re-pressed and re-released today.

Still not cheap, but finally obtainable for more reasonable prices. Exciting to see some of the fundamental albums getting re-released.

Obituary's Redneck Stomp is one of the best doom/stoner tracks.

Just goes to show that labels and boxes don't always fit. Obituary is a foundational death metal band, but this song may as well have been released by Belzebong. All hail the humans that make sick music.

I think I've reached cruising altitude.

I haven't bought a pedal in a few months, and I'm not really itching to get another. Naturally, I'll continue buying pedals. But it's nice to arrive at a collection that alters the signal in all the ways I like.

Replaced my 1986 Tim Shaw humbuckers with the Hot Rodded Seymour Duncan set. As expected, tone improved.

I was nervous about picking up soldering and getting into the guts of my '86 Flying V, but it was easy peasy with the help of Seymour Duncan's YouTube tutorial. There is obviously a big aesthetic improvement, and the sound quality is much cleaner and brighter. I'm excited to get to know these new pickups.

Also, for you Murphy Lab folks, I have a pair of vintage, ultra time-weathered humbuckers with authentic corrosion patina. Yours for $22,000. Each. These magnets don't just look worse—they really are worse. You'll love 'em.

Monolord's fern.

Present at last night's Salt Lake City show was this lil' fella. Monolord put on an incredible show. The inclusion of a potted plant was a charming touch. They also came out to their merch booth after the show to hang out with fans and sign stuff. Properly good dudes.

Mizmor crushed it last night in Salt Lake City.

June 24, 2026, at Urban Lounge in Salt Lake City, supporting Monolord.

Yo shredders, check out this clean 1986 Flying V. I'm stoked as hell.

Thanks dude on Reverb, it's sick!

...so does anyone know what pedal will make me sound like James Hetfield? I thought the guitar would automatically make me as good as the metal titans like Randy Rhoads and K.K. Downing. Since that didn't happen, I'm guessing I just need one more pedal. Let me know.

Remind me again, we do, or do not, add half and half to our oil?

Took a dip in a swamp. Hopefully the only contamination is swamp water. Pray for me.

Visiting Chicago and had a few minutes to spare, so I made my way out of downtown to check this place out. My lands, what an inventory. So many great used items and a decent selection of less commonly stocked pedals. Anyway, it's worth a stop if you're in the area.
