Holy guacamole on the downloads

I’m not a big selfie taker. However, I’m a premature Aquarius (1/27 - was supposed to be around 4/15)
I’ve had so many things going on, I know what I want and finally feel a glimmer of hope.
I’m 19 months sober of a disaster of a life of a family’s coping tool of alcohol.
I’m starting a project, I feel something good is coming and I’m prepared for speaking my voice to the other.

Can I use your help?

Tis’ the season to be Bucky…

My velcro cat. I have a hard time with connection and he genuinely feels like something tied to my soul.

Newbie Aquarius, building my first alter and other pleads for your help!!

Hello everyone! As Lions Gate (8/8) nears - I’ve come to learn of it. I’ve seen 8’s all over the last two days.

I’ve also started picking up tarot - if you know an (easy pls) YouTuber or a deck you enjoy, I’ve also invested my time in tarot.

I’m a premie Aquarius, directly related to Bridget Bishop - the first ‘witch’ to be h**g (before they did burning) in the SWT. I am unsure if that means much.

I have extremely good intuition, and the ability of just knowing a room or person without words immediately.
Example: I just merely glanced at a girl in another state at a concert - I knew I’d know her. Years later, she was in my state and we became good pals and roommates through more so my kinda coworkers at the time. She’s a Cancer, who really helped me choose this path and helped me further my illustrative career and confidence.

I ethically source my sage, palo santo, incense - use salt/cinnamon, write - (attempt) to meditate. Gratitude lists regularly. Clove Bees Wax candles. Moon water. Drink my tea in the morning with intention. I love owls so I have many vintage statues (I just love birds in general.) Regularly writing. I have many stones/crystals.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I’m really looking forward to your help!!

I’d love some 5 minute, or short practices - any tips you’ve got for a new girl, either manifestation techniques, trusting your intuition, strengthening your knowledge, how to better spot signs (rather than ‘oh a heart cloud, a feather, angel #’ etc. I’m not usually sure what to ‘write’ or ‘say out loud’ either - or when.

I could really use a hand :(

I’ve been getting deeper into the realm of spirituality. I’ve always felt I had good intuition.
(Example, I saw a girl at a concert out of state and couldn’t forget. She then years later met me through somehow knowing a coworker, came to this state and was a wonderful roommate and impact on my life.)

I also have such a streak of tragedies.

I don’t know - what can you tell me please? Anything helps.

15 months, incredibly angry or just anhedonia. Advice?

F/29

So, I’ve been trying since 2022 to stay sober. I’ve learned white knuckling is certainly not the way, nor is ‘once in a while.’ My habit got so bad I became a morning drinker.

My life now is pretty simple - I don’t make money off some rich dude working at his museum as basically visitors services. I don’t necessarily care for the ‘theme’ of lack of a better word of the art or to know anything despite being an artist. A lot goes against my values - it being a non profit, basically a rich guys storage of 10% and doesn’t pay anyone shit.

There’s PTO perks, my coworkers I can feel myself pulling a bit from for my own sanity as I work on social loads. I’m happily married. It is what it is.

I took the job as exposure therapy to upset people (especially older men.) We act as a lot of things, but not having people touch things is one.

Before you ask, no I cannot leave the job.

I just can’t formulate how to not be just irritated to be there. Or anywhere really. I’m on mood stabilizers etc and I don’t know -

I’m just angry. Were you at this stage?
Thanks! Keep trucking yall

SOS on tapering TW: abv% sobriety mentioned. OCPD, C-PTSD.

So, I am 14ish months not… drinking like a fish. My doctor has had me on 300 Lamictal for mood, 4mg Clonazepam, 20mg of propranolol (I have a tremor since I was maybe 12.) Zoloft 150 - Adderall 20 x2 (I’m going to work on going back to 10/10 see how I feel and eventually quit.) Seroquel 150 for insomnia.

Yes the doctor gave a drunk controlled junk. I don’t have healthcare, and he works with me. He claims to have adhd and maybe I do, maybe I don’t - but I know right now nothing feels purposeful. All (my 3?) friends have moved out of state - it’s just my husband and I. I don’t like to leave the house and it’s often resulted in job loss and isolation. I have chronic stress from the OCPD and my position at work.

I took Seroquel in the 32 day grippy socker, not as high of a dose - and got off it just fine.

I know my doctor is a quack, and honestly I am just obsessed with the idea of feeling ‘better.’ (I never learned how to feel things, and in early recovery damn I’m angry at everything.)

I eventually plan to get down to only 2-3 medications. I want to start with the Seroquel, and Adderall.

I am extremely intolerant to medicine changes. Seroquel I have a 100, and 50 tablet. I’ve just been horrified to taper it.

I have pretty bad C-PTSD, OCPD and riveting anxiety. Also I’m an addict - that plays in any form it wants to take on at the time.

If I miss a dose of Seroquel I am panicking - running out of meetings at work in just sheer fear in a foggy memory. I cannot do confrontational things (I work at a museum aka ‘no touchy’ and the fear of response kills me.) I need this job and can’t have Seroquel jeopardizing it.

How was going down for everyone? What can I do supplement wise to help?

Going through some ‘sense of purpose’ bologna - does anything stand out? I was a premie, 1/27. Unsure if that matters. (Newbie sorry!)
