HOT TAKE

Plant center always say to not steal bouture of plants, but they categorically refused to sell them….

They should when plants overgrow their pot in the center, they should cut part and sell those tiny bits 1$ each….

My thought, would you buy baby plants for 1$?

Question for window trim repair on ancestral house Canada

Hello, my house is a 100-year-old Canadian house, and the caulking of the window was latex and was really overdue to be taken out—which is something I knew how to do, so I did it... I thought I'd just caulk back, but two things make me hesitate and I would like some advice.

  1. The trim is solid wood and I might want to just oil/varnish the wood and not paint it… If I let it like that, should I use a caulking with tint in it or is there any other product that could be better?

  2. The old caulking wasn't filling the cracks between the wall trim and the window. It was pretty much just above the cracks so water couldn't get in. The cracks are about 0.5 inches large but seem to be like 2 inches deep maybe. So I was wondering if this is something I should fill up or if it's normal. Since it's not a joint like in a newer house, and it seems intentional that makes me hesitate a lot.

I'm not an expert, I would say that my knowledge is pretty basic. The wood from the window trim and the part on the wall is healthy so we can keep it, which I’m really happy about. We want to keep the house with its original "vibes" when and where it is possible so we don't truly want to modernise, but we want it to be healthy and take care of. I thank you so much for any advice, on the internet the majority of advice I saw was for modern construction and this is why I'm asking you guys. Older houses are a bit particular.

Question friends!

Hey, so I looked on pinterest/google. But I didn’t find any inspiration for that so I thought maybe you had that, or knew a creator that did something similar…

It’s really niche, but I’m a life coach/blogger and I have to create content creation, but I LOVE journaling, and I was wondering for those who have some-sort of content creation process had a journal for that, with decor and stuff. I’m looking for some inspiration, thank you!

Hello Question for MD.ID bracelets

Hello, I’m in Canada, and I would like to know what did you wrote on your medical ID bracelet if you passed out or something… I don’t have the DX yet, but I have the symptoms that fit… I thought about writing « ANS DYS » for autonomic nervous system disfunction. since Canada is bilingual, I’d like something that is bilingual also, or… « Universal ». What’s your thought on that thank you

Hello I want to share my tricks

Hello guys, so I have endo since 2005. In February 2026 they finally found it- I have stage 4. They say the lesion on a MRI, all around my abdominal & pelvic area.

I also have POTS/MCAS/hEDS symptoms ( still not dx but they needed 21 years to found endo, so I don’t think they will find that trifecta for a 20+ year again).
I’m on POTS/MCAS reddit subs and I saw an Internist she was really dismissive and said “just drink water with salt & wear compression wear”. After a research and speaking with people on the subreddit of POTS, I discover that the compression garnement should be abdominal and after going to the leg.
I also got influenced by tiktok with the vibration plate. So I bought that & compression thights that goes under my boobs & other type of shapewear.

Here what I saw is helping my endo with those.
Abdominal shapewear/compression help for the belly endo, you know when you feel that your organs will fall out of your body & your pelvic area hurt from everything being “heavy”. The garnement helps a lot with that.

The vibration plates is a blessings! It did reduce the muscle fatigue and the pain a little bit, also the bowel mouvement are less painful. But it’s help mostly make my brain feel better, since it’s little vibration it’s feel like exercising and since it’s hard to do with my endo having that plates alloying me to be passive while having my body moves help a lot.

It didn’t reduce the pain daily a lot- like it took it from a 4 and reduce it to a 3. BUT The fatigue, and the support for my organs do help for my mental health & overall way of seeing myself. I feel prettier, I feel more “a live” and I can walk a little bit longer. IT IS NOT magical, but it does support.

I wanted to share, because if it helped me maybe it can help you too!
Also if you tried let me know, if you thought it helps or not. I’m curious on what do help you that isn’t meds
