How the hell is darrow still alive, when it’s clear weapons of mass destruction especially nuclear weapons are being used every five minutes, he’s been on the front lines for 12+ years and is definitely a priority target, like I get golds want to capture him or duel him, but at this point there is no honour in duelling the reaper it’s just a death sentence

Killing Darrow would cut the heart of the republic deeply, though it would probably make the reds and other low colours even more fanatical, but he is also their best military leader and usually has sevro and the howlers around him who are the best republic military unit full stop so using a nuke on them would have taken them out as well

I’ll start with that one grey from the start of golden son who ends up on the vanguard and isn’t mentioned again, would be nice to have another named republic grey

What with the benefit of hindsight caused her fall, I don’t just mean letting cassius darrow ect into the dragon Maw I mean what really could she have done differently politically to prevent her fall?

I remember Hadrian was teachings Alexander about it at one point it, had to do with loyalty to the person of the heirarch, loyalty to the office etc

What mechanical advantages do each have and what is best etc

This is about the one at the start of iron gold

Just put Darrow in house arrest if you have to arrest him, the guy has been tortured in the box before and would never accept being imprisoned(I’m confused Virginia didn’t bring this up) so just tell him to stay in silene manor and that other than that he’ll be left alone with his family then maybe things won’t go so terribly for the republic as then they wouldn’t be weakened over mercury and so the free legions probably won’t be lost so he’d be available to talk to sefi and like twenty other benefits and once the senate realises their failure when atalantia attacks or the rim invades etc

I wish Cassius said at some point like when grabbing Darrow and others with the arkey “this time a ballona will interfere”, as his father said that no ballona will interfere during the gala fight, but after lysander’s murder of him that will never happen, unless Julia learns the truth and betrays him(which I really hope happens)

I just watched the movie and have this question, Is she meant to be a Cassandra or Athena or a combination of both, my theory is that Odysseus is just hiding his memories of a priestess being killed in her own temple by his soldiers by pretending to himself it was the statue being beheaded and not the priestess, and then it’s his guilt for that, that causes his weird visions of Athena?
The Cassandra question is because if I remember correctly from the Iliad she was SA’d by Ajax the lesser in Athena’s temple and due to reasons Nolan decided against showing this SA and instead showed a beheading

Firstly, I love the sequencing of chapters in dark age far more than iron gold’s approach,
The Light resistance was as funny as expected
Lysander should have had both eyes burned out
Screw face being carved is interesting but he really should have blown his cover to warn of atalantia’s sneak attack instead of waiting around for a chance to sneak off and join the reaper in the middle of battle while wearing enermy colours
Darrow should have used most of his army at tyche to cut the heads off the snake because his forces(barring himself) had little impact in heliopolis(getting butchered by the gorgons is a worse way to go then dying against atalantia)
How the hell he managed to run for like a week straight with no sleep and still be a god of war really does just show how absurdly good Mickey is at his craft
I would feel sorry for Seraphina but she deserved it for her warmongering,
It’s good that apple wasn’t just good for burning the ash lord but is now also causing absolute chaos on Venus,
Atlas is as evil as a fear knight should be, seriously dude needs therapy or a bullet to the head
Also based on spoilers I’ve got for 17b(I don’t mind and they are impossible to avoid), I hate to think was forshadowed by Lysander thinking about dying in a hangar bay even at this early hour
I wonder what proportions of atalantia’s force was wiped out by that battle, at the very least they bled far more than they were expecting to
I know about gilarastes betrayal(spoilers again but I’m fine with it) and it is darrows fault for putting a vengeful madwoman in charge of terraforming level weapons, also lysander getting angry at Darrow for using the storm gods was funny and I wonder what else was in the crescent vault and what he now knows for certain the republic has

Using lb flare because 17b mention

My empire of dirt, everyone I know goes away in the end
Victra, mustang, sevro, aurae, so many and that damn hat is going to be painful
Accord to pierce brown, red god is most like, Johnny cash’s hurt

What is its intent, or at least what is the combination of devotion and dominion, I know while technically being a combined shard it doesn’t have or has ever had a vessel so it hasn’t been filtered through a (human/dragon/whatever else can grab a shard)‘s mind but what are some potential names for its intent if it were to be taken up

Hes known as the incorruptible and I can think of another person who was known as the incorruptible, Maximilian Robespierre so that was some foreshadowing for DORD

Years later Alexander’s forces and the chantry are on their last legs and he goes to cholchis to try and find whatever Hadrian found their(I can’t remember if Alexander knows about horizon) and then once he enters the Atheneum, Cassandra and Hadrian’s son via Selene show up on world and then to try and stop them from destroying the Atheneum, the scholiasts inside offer to mediate a cease fire, then once Alexander sits down he notices Hadrian standing there menacingly and has a mental breakdown and dies of a heart attack then Cassandra walks in with Hadrian’s son via Selene and they laugh with Hadrian the end

Maegor’s actions were justified and he was a better monarch than the following targaryens, aegon IV, jaehaerys II, aerys II, viseryes, aegon II, and rhaenyra

Will debate in comments, I hope I’m using the spoiler tags right

As sevro is noted as having a certain fascination with unicorns…

Good as in maegor is presented as the good guy and everything he ostensibly did was just propaganda and he really did love his wives etc

If she ever has another pregnancy, will her dragons monopolise her milk again?
