5% (OG) / 7% (Flex) on dining and 5% on groceries (excluding Target/Walmart/wholesale clubs, etc.). I'm already getting 6% on groceries from my AMEX BCP so I'm not sure how much I'll use my Freedom for that part, but I'm sure it's a nice benefit for a lot of people. It will definitely be my dining card to close out the year, though!

We should probably get a master thread for this topic, but here's the scoop.

(1) It appears, after all, that the Prime benefit will continue on the *old* version as long as you do *not* upgrade. All existing benefits and points structures will remain the same on the *old* version.

(2) The AF will be $95 on *both* versions. For the old card, this takes effect on the first renewal date that occurs on or after November 2, 2026. (In my case, for example, I still get to renew in October 2026 for the old $49 fee, but would then pay $95 in October 2027.).

(3) The *new* version comes with a $100 airline credit. Travel is 4x instead of 3x, and dining is a new special category at 3x instead of 2x. Everything else is 1x instead of 2x.

I know they've been talking about it for at least 2 years but this is the first time I've actually noticed it.

Is it just the heat? Or are there other factors? It seemed like maybe there weren't as many food vendors this year.

Those of you who closely follow regional news are probably aware that Lime and Bird scooters have been replaced by Veo within Denver County. Unfortunately, this also means that Bird has pulled out of the region entirely, including from Englewood.
