First time I’ve rewatched s4 since it first aired bc I was so pissed at the finale. I figured with some time away and a full rewatch maybe my opinion would change, evolve, maybe I’d understand the reasoning better this time around or respect RT’s decision. Nope, I’m upset as ever that they BLEW UP OUR BOY. Penn gave so many hints to VM as they talked after his arrest- admitting his contingencies have contingencies, saying “if you’re still around,” calling her a hero, acting like he won…not to mention the Fiji call out in the limerick that didn’t correlate with the Kane high bomb and thus meant something else. And they even asked what’s in the bag to penn before they went after Don. They knew about the bag!!! They knew it was in their car and a confirmed slippery lying vengeful bomber kept a big backpack with him and left it in their car after his arrest!!! I just refuse to believe that Veronica had such hubris from the high of confirming Penn was indeed the bomber that she didn’t think through his speech in the cop car a little more. So many red flags she missed, between that gloating and ominous speech and the presence of his backpack, it is simply too much for our girl to miss! So yeah of course I’m pissed and heartbroken they killed Logan but the manner in which they executed this plot line pisses me off more than anything. Just not realistic for the Veronica we know.

Thoughts? I don’t think I can ever watch the s4 finale again, at least not the last few minutes. I prefer to live in blissful denial.

Shawn Hatosy crushes his role in this movie and is eerily similar to Pope! Don’t want to spoil anything but pretty much felt like I was watching Pope. Hatosy stands out in everything he’s a part of as usual. Delightful seeing him show off his dark side after watching him be such a hero in the Pitt. Dude plays a scary psycho masterfully

Our girl SMG, who I will forever refer to as Buffy, crushes her role! There’s even a rocket launcher involved and Buffy gets to impale someone! I saw a fun fact that the main character’s sister in the movie even wore an outfit that Buffy wore once! The big bad of this movie also reminded of Buffy and Angel big bads. Such a fun ride

Thoughts? Does anyone use any other citrus juice to further complicate the matter??

For anyone wondering, I am lemon juice all the way, I find lemon complementary while lime is overpowering.

My recipe for guacamole is super basic- one avocado mashed with a half tablespoon to one tablespoon of lemon juice, a dash of Texas Pete’s hot sauce and salt to season. I like the taste of avocados so much I don’t add too much! I find restaurant guac way too loose and oniony most times, too much nonsense. Simple guac over complicated guac all day.

Hey guys! Just got my Aventon Level 4 rec, it’s gorgeous and I can’t wait to ride it more but did have a couple concerns.

Brakes first-
While taking it out for my first ride I noticed the brakes aren’t terribly effective, I really have to pull both fully in to brake. I read it helps to get the bike up to 10-15mph and then slam on each brake one at a time to try and wear in the pads a bit so I did that but they still feel weaker than I expected. To be fair this is my first e-bike (other than vacation e bike rentals) so I’m more used to a regular bike where I’d got get up to speed and hit the front (left) brake you’ll practically fly off the bike because you stop so suddenly. I understand e bikes are heavier and may take a bit more to stop, but neither brake feels as effective as I feel like they should be.

Also the rear tire has a strange whirring sound, the fender (the one that came attached) does seem slightly tilted to the left side but it’s quite subtle and I can’t see the tire hitting it anywhere. It whirs nonstop whether I pedal, use throttle or just spin the wheel while stationary. What could this be and is it safe?

Anyone have any tips or adjustment issues like this initially? I had to remove the front fender because it made a noise as well, not sure how to properly align that.

Mainly concerned about the whirring and the brake after wise, I would prefer to have the front fender too tho lol.

So I watched the assembly video for the level 4 rec step through and multiple times the assembler mentions exact tightening specs, like “tighten to 2 newton meters” and “tighten to 18.5 newton meters”. Should I buy a torque wrench that measures newton meters to get this part exactly correct? Or can I just approximate by feel? New to this, appreciate any recs!

I had my eyes on the level 4 rec step through in glacier mint, told him that’s my dream bike, and he got me exactly what I wanted! I’ve ridden e bikes in Zion and Key West but this will be my first e-bike purchase :) I am so excited you guys! Any tips, tricks or must have accessories?? I am so fucking hyped!

So I was finally diagnosed this year, got my surgery and am recovering nicely. All good news!

The F You is because I am perpetually in awe at just how painful and debilitating this disease was before my surgery…and surgery wasn’t like an on/off switch, I’m still working out some GI symptoms and pelvic pain but it’s much better. Better enough where I can properly reflect on just how bad things were and be incredibly grateful they aren’t as bad.

My perspective has certainty shifted: I’ve had chronic pain for 13 years, had ulcerative colitis for the last 3 years, and yet nothing remotely compares to the endo pain I’ve experienced over the past few months. It was like a new boss fight unlocked when I thought I’d beat the game, like playing dark souls with no prior experience of challenging games despite being a lifelong gamer, like reading Ulysses instead of the shining. I could go on but I’m sure too many of you understand exactly where I’m coming from- endo unlocked a whole new level of pain and suffering and Im honestly incredibly proud, scared, humbled and stunned at what I experienced…what so many of us experience.

So just a huge pat on the back to everyone who has gotten through episodes of endo’s mind-shattering pain, I feel like we should all win an award of some kind because we are truly warriors.

Oh and fuck you endo :)

Title- holy shit I loved Marianne! I feel like the idea of “writing something to life” has been done before but not quite this well. Was legit scared through most of the series, first time I’ve been scared to turn the lights off in a while! What else is legit scary? It follows haunted me too (at least the first 2/3 did), hereditary was obvs freaky, but man something about ancient primal evil really does it for me….

What else can make me afraid to turn off the lights? Give me your scariest tv or movies!

Hello all,

My husband and I are visiting key west in June and I want to rent e-bikes to get around. I am thinking e-bikes over regular bikes for a few reasons- I have severe heat sensitivity due to some medical conditions so I don’t want to overexert myself on a regular bike and feel sick. I am also recovering from surgery so won’t have my full stamina back in time for the trip. I hear it’s a very bike-friendly town, any reason not to do e-bikes? Thanks for the input, can’t wait to visit!
