Echelon 4.0c. Small grip too skinny, medium grip doesn’t have enough beaver tail. Solution: slap some baseball bat grip to thicken up the small grip, feels great!

Using baseball bat grip tape has become my favorite way to thicken up any grip that needs it while also providing additional actual grip.

Feels so good in the hands 🤤

Did I make it in time for the party

I hereby submit my glock to be judged by the panel of superior glock owner Redditors.

But anyway, love this EDC. I love it so good

G43X w/Ramjet combo is loud. Pair it with Underwood Xtreme Defenders 68gr+P? Pfff who needs to hear anyway

But damn do I love this thing! These Underwood XD rounds shoot so flat. Follow up shots are a breeze. But man are they loud with the ramjet. Noticeably louder even with earpro on lol. And louder than traditional hollow point +P rounds.

They’re also noticeably lighter as well. Probably won’t matter to most people 🤷🏻‍♂️ as the great Paul Harrell would say, “not enough difference to make a difference”.

Stay strapped y’all 🤙🏼

M&P Shield X has taken over as my main EDC, great carry gun for a great price. Can’t complain

Loving it! Over 500 rounds downrange and it’s been great.

Shield Plus was great but I couldn’t help myself with the Shield X and I have no regrets lol.

Something about the Shield grip angle and the way they point, just pairs great with their hi-vis iron sights. No dots for these ones. Shield Plus gonna see more time in the safe.

One small thing, grip does feel just a tad too skinny. Hence the bat grip lol honestly it’s fine without the grip tape but just feels a little better

Hot take (maybe), but I hear and read the phrase “Carry the biggest gun you can comfortably conceal” a lot…I disagree

The only thing these super special operator navy seal team 6 tacticool guntubers really should be saying, is carry the gun you’ll train and shoot with. Sometimes yea, that ends up being a G34, which is great. Other times, it ain’t. I can comfortably conceal my G19 with a 17 round mag and a spare in a sidecar holster…but my Shield X is just that much more comfortable to carry lol maybe it’s a hot take, I don’t even know, but oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️

While I know there is a benefit to having all these guntuber videos out there and there’s definitely a benefit to hearing different training methods, don’t get lost in it all. Guntubers (not all) be making it seem like we all gotta be the next John Wick to survive in the wild.

But I digress. Anyway, Shield X essentially took over as my edc, use to be the Shield Plus. But the M&P Shield lineup is probably the softest shooting of the slimline guns I’ve felt. Also, great hi-vis iron sights. Took my dot off, gonna keep this one with irons. 550 rounds through it so far without any failures.

Only thing I slightly didn’t like was the grip being a little too skinny. Added some baseball bat grip just to fill it out a tad, sort of like a palm swell, and it feels great. Makes a bigger difference than you think it would.

Anyway, get out there and carry! 🤙🏼

We’re so back lol I’ve always loved this gun.

I mean, it helps when you’re in a mag ban state (CA) and can only carry 10 rounds anyway. At least, that’s what the state thinks 😉

575 rounds through the gun with dot installed without issue so far. Got the osight on their release sale and it’s honestly a great dot for the price.
