Whats with BA using so many buses?

I've noticed this creeping in over the last few years, but on my recent trip it was ridiculous.

I just flew from San Francisco to Machester, UK via Heathrow.

- At Heathrow T5 they put us on a bus to get to the plane that was ten minutes across the airport.
- Then when we land at Manchester, they put us on another bus to take us to the terminal.
- Then returning, back at Heathrow they stick us on another bus to take us to the plane again!

What the heck is the point of the terminal if theyre just bussing around the tarmac? And they squeezed us in like sardines into that bus on a roasting hot day. It was just awful.

Edit - Thanks for the answers. Turns out the airport is too small to accommodate every flight and so they use remote stands to squeeze in more planes.

Learning Blender and modeling som Batmobile.

Whenever I learn a new software I practise by modeling a Batmobile or two. Here's what I've been doing with Blender lately. The Batman: Animated Series one I did from scratch. The 1989 one I copied over my old Maya model and cleaned it up a bit.

I havent put much work into lighting and shading but what I love about Blender is how you can get such a better look in the viewport compared to Maya.

Philadelphia airport question

In early October, I am traveling from Venice, Italy to San Francisco on American Airlines. I have a 2 hour 10 min gap layover at PHL on a Saturday afternoon.

Presuming I have to go through customs and security again, is that a long enough time to make the connection?

We have TSA Pre and no checked baggage which speeds things up a bit.

We appreciate any thoughts on the viability of this. Thanks!

Visible support is not helping

Hi, Im trying to resolve an issue. Is there any other way to get hold of a human support person?

The AI chatbot is useless. I dont have Facebook or X accounts. It seems like they're the only options available, which leaves me stuck.

Edit: If you click "none of these options" enough times in the AI it connects you to an agent.
