I'm probably at around C range right now in CS 6601 (AI) and I did terrible on the Midterm. I'm struggling finding the drive to get within B range. Assignments 1 & 2 I barely got high 70's scores and I did super poorly on the Midterm.

The grading policy, at least for this version of the class, is "“B's” will be given for final grades equal to the median and above 1 standard deviation below the median. Final grades equal to or below 1 standard deviation below the median and above 2 standard deviations below the median will get a “C”". Given how high the mean/median was for the exam, I realize I'm struggling a lot more in the class compared to my peers.

For anyone who's taken this class, or anyone who managed to pull off a B after a similar rough start, how did you do it? I don't know if I'm doomed to fail given my poor understanding of the beginning material and if it's gonna get harder from here. I should start attending OH but I have no idea what to ask, especially since I usually can't get to the material until the weekend. Any advice to help get me over the finish line would be appreciated 😔

I am an insanely sweaty guy looking for your favorite pieces/tips to look casual this summer. If I get nervous, doing chores, or just existing, I just sweat constantly and the summer won't help. I feel like my clothing just defaults to workout wear since it can be quick dry, but I don't always want to look like I'm working out if I'm trying to look nice. Any advice would be appreciated

I've been having more health-related issues that require me going in for more appointments. I also have been feeling unwell some days where I end up not getting work done because I just don't feel physically capable. I work remotely for a tech company where I technically have unlimited sick leave.

My question for managers in similar fields, is if you actually count sick days against your employees since they can be requested so last minute. I feel so hesitant requesting sick leave when I'm unwell because I'm not getting anything done and coverage is required last minute. In my case, we have a buddy system where we cover for each other when we're sick or out of office. However, I can't get past this feeling of guilt, especially if/when I need to take multiple days in a row. I think managers are skeptical like "how sick are you really", "are you just faking to get out of work", etc. I'd like to think, at least for my company, that this isn't the case, but I'm curious of other perspectives

I recently changed my boot drive from the Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 SATA SSD to the MSI SPATIUM M450 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive because I would get random memory errors that restarted my computer randomly. After replacing it, the memory crashes stopped occurring so frequently, but it still happened one or two times after. Friend thinks the GPU needs an upgrade too.

Anyway, another side effect I noticed was that software installations tend to silently fail. An .exe or .msi file can start running, then close immediately with no warnings or indicators. I did have an issue with file transfers so I had to config Windows 11 again from scratch, so maybe there's another change I need to make? Anyway, I'd appreciate any help in figuring out why installations can silently fail and where I can potentially find errors/logs

Kinda interested in checking out Nasus jg after the FLY/LYON series, and also bc I got wrecked by one before because the game couldn't end fast enough 😂

Question - Do people who play him just try to get stacks on the big camp? I imagine trying to stack on every single mini-chicken/mini-wolf/mini-krug would take too much time, but maybe the free stacks are worth if you're not getting invaded?

Also, is there a "target" number of stacks you should have? Is there a metric like 10 stacks/min means you're in a good spot?
