Does anyone know what the Dune Part 3 trailer premiere event consist of?

I mean obviously it’s the trailer but is anything else involved in it? If it’s just the trailer I’d rather wait for it

Tomorrow is Americas 250th birthday and I hate that I just don’t care.

It’s almost like an exhaustion or feeling like I don’t want to give into what’s become Trumps America. But it is exhaustion too.. it just never ever ends. I mean it’s been 10 years more or less or just the most insane shit imaginable and a good chunk of the country I live in supporting it. what’s crazy is I grew up being bullied, bullied a lot but by kids that were better looking than me, skinnier than me, family had more money than me, were cooler than me etc. so I understand people making you feel shitty… I’m sure some of MAGA fit these types of people but I swear everyone I’ve seen wearing those hats has been someone’s heavier than me, looking poorer than me, unattractive etc. it’s people who I should have empathy for who are pissing me off. It’s just wild

Visiting for a week in late July. Do they have Rush or Lottery for Les Miserables? What’s best way to get a deal on a ticket?

I know I can just pay full price but I thought I’d at least ask. I’m also still looking at Airbnb that are closest to west end to make it more convenient to see multiple shows. First time in London in over a decade though so any tips are greatly appreciated.

For the Mermaid parade today, is there any benefit to taking the subway to/from Brighton beach instead of Coney Island directly or will it all be very crowded?

It’s about a 20 minute walk last time i took the B train to Brighton beach to Coney Island instead of The Q?

What is the craziest food or drink you’ve seen someone sneak into a broadway show ?

I went to see dog day afternoon last night and the two young guys in front of me both had tall boys of Sierra Nevada beers they snuck in. Honestly it didn’t make any noise or issue it was just interesting seeing The biggest issue is how close the seating is in August Wilson theatre with obviously no cup holders.

Have you ever seen people eating or drinking random things they snuck in to a show?

How do I find out about guest passes for this summer with the Gold pass?

I just signed up for the season pass, the gold one and in the past it listed when you could bring a plus one for different prices or free but I can’t find it now. Any advice?

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills sometimes working here and I’m wondering if anyone else find that

I’ve been with the company for years and I would have left if the cons outweighed the pros for me personally but some days…. Like we aren’t supposed to mark out food that we are out of because we can get in trouble if we are out of too much? So customers come in expecting an item and then when they’re here we get them to get something else so I guess we don’t lose the sale if we just said we were out of it? So do we care a lot about our customers or do we clearly not mind them coming all the way here to get their money?

And I have a strict supervisor which I’m sure many of us have. It would be ok I guess if he was strict about everything but it seems he picks and chooses what to be strong about

I get the modifications are popular with customers which is why we have them but they do take us away from being just a coffee shop to… something else and it seems people who just want something small are willing to wait for the fact that most people want a lot more

I guess that’s just my rant now.

Question about traffic tomorrow in Rockland county

I mean my specific question is just I have to drive from Nyack into dobbs ferry tomorrow in the early afternoon and wondering how Trump visiting effects a route like that at this time. But I’m also wondering in general how his appearance affects traffic throughout the county. I realize no one has an exact answer to that but have they announced what roads would be closed or what to avoid or are they not allowed to do that ?

I live in the suburbs outside NYC but got a jury summons for Manhattan next week. Is this typical?

I just got a jury summons to call the night before but plan to come in early June for a case. Do they often have people from outside the city come in?

What is the proper way “to scold” customers who take the wrong drinks?

It happens way too often. Your name is on a cup. Another persons name is on yours. I believe most times it comes down to them just not wanting to wait so they take the wrong one but again… names on cups. I think what I find infuriating is I assume most of these adults are people who have many responsibilities in life and if they can’t read or look at a cup how do they handle everything else. But the reality might be they just don’t think THIS place is that important to follow the rules at

But my question is how do you make clear without being overly polite that something like that shouldn’t happen again? That the names are on cups for a reason?

I’ve had a friend for awhile who’s Catholic and even used to be a priest before he left it. I enjoy his company in most ways but find he brings up religion decently often. I’m Jewish on both sides of my family though non practicing even though most of my family is very involved. One frustration for me is how much religion is brought up given I don’t have that much Information to discuss or debate which I get is solvable by just mentioning maybe I don’t want to talk about it. But the other thing that’s frustrating is any comparisons he makes. As if, for example, the struggles of Jews is similar to the struggles of Catholics or, bigger part for me, him not understanding how small of a minority we are. When he has a frustration of being catholic he has 17% (or so) of the world to confide with where we have under 0.2%. I don’t get how he doesn’t see the difference in frustration as far as numbers would go.

I’m not sure how to better communicate this either. I do want to be friends and hang out but I need to be clear that any talk of religion isn’t that beneficial. Either it comes off lecturing (as a former priest he may well know more about Judaism than I do since I’m non practicing but I don’t need to be reminded of that) or slightly offensive
