Do you the Others/Pluribus has good intentions?

I've been curious about general fan consensus on this since I finished the series. I was watching it from the perspective that this is how the others survive, and the only way they've ever really perceived life. So while characters like Carol may see them as a threat, they genuinely believe they're doing something altruistic.

But I watched some breakdowns after word, many people seem to work from the assumption they were manipulative and just saying whatever to trick Carol.

Honestly though if that's the case I think the show is less interesting. Its just another alien invasion story, which are kinda low key racist

Edit: I just realized I forgot the word "THINK" in the title. My bad.

junko (OC) @daimondrewthis

Jun the Red Ranger in my Sentai comic Stellar Remnant.
She half Japanese, which for a manga inspired black artist feels a little corny, but I based on how she acts in the comic, I wanted her background to hint towards a desire for approval from authority that would feel silly from a black girl who grew up in the states, I wanted people to realize than she ultimately wants to do the best and is smart but may have trusted the wrong people.

I don’t want to give away too much. But if your interestedHERE artist:Daimon Hampton @daimondrewthis

I’m Running out of time!

THERES ONLY 13 DAYS LEFT!

What happens when a teenager with attitude becomes an adult with trauma? Sho Imahara finds out when he's in his thirties as the last original member of his Sentai team with less respect than you'd think that would garner. Things get worse after the team stops the lastest attack from alien terror group Higher Truth. The culprit is revealed to be his ex-best friend and Old Squad mate, Makoto. Questions lead to conspiracy. Conspiracy leads to search for the truth. Follow Sho down this rabbithole as he learns the secrets of his friend, COMPASS, the organization he works for, and faces the mistakes of his past.

BACK NOW!

Issue 2 finds Sho on the run with the secret Makoto is in prison to protect. So not only does he have to worry about his companions on NOVA Team, who are currently tailing him, but Higher Truth might want to have some words. Problem is, Sho's always been better with his fist.

Honestly, I freaking out there are only 13 days left and I’m not quite there yet. But we worked really hard on this comic and I think it’ll be worth reading.

Message to the mods of r/indiecomics : all the rule says is “OC Thursday”…that’s not clear at all! That’s actually NOT A sentence. The way the mods reply to people if you post about a crowd funding campaign outside of Thursdays. you would think …the rule was clearly written. But no it doesn’t say anything it doesn’t even clearly state what OC refers too.
