1.5 Years on TRT + 4 Month Retaject Weight Cut - 185 lbs to 165 lbs

1.5 Years on TRT + 4 Month Retaject Weight Cut - 185 lbs to 165 lbs

Photos taken roughly 1.5 years apart, unflexed before, pump and fles in the after 37M 5'8, hiding face because not everyone at work knows I'm on TRT.

TRT has been great for strength, muscle building, recovery, and overall gym performance. I did notice some early water retention/puffier face and a more bloated look at first, so I eventually adjusted things with bloodwork and monitoring.

The fat loss came during a 4 month cut using reta. TRT really helped build/hold muscle, but the cut is what brought out the abs and overall definition. Reta made the diet mich easier to stick to because appetite and food was way more manageable.

Dosage:

160 mg TRT (IM 80 mg split Monday/Thursday) from clinic since not covered under Canadian health care

Started 1 mg weekly reta - current 4 mg (sub-Q 40 IU pen split Monday/Thursday)

60g whey protein isolate post workout

Protein intake roughly 180g a day mininum, clean diet most days

Blood work: every 3 months since on TRT Base - former hockey player/weight lifter.

Workouts 5 days a week bodybuilder split, When I can't make it to the gym, I use Bowflex adjustable dumbbells at home

Does anyone else with a chronic illness feel disconnected from their body sometimes?

Thinking about how much my relationship with my body has changed since dealing with ongoing health issues. Before all of this i never really thought about every little symptom or how much energy i had in a day. Now it feels like i am constantly checking in with myself and trying to figure out what my body is doing.

Some days i wake up feeling okay and start making plans then few hours later i feel completely different. Other times I feel guilty for resting because I cannot tell if I actually need it or if I am just being overly cautious. The weirdest part is that I do not always feel connected to my body anymore. Its like I am constantly trying to interpret signals instead of just living my life. Has anyone else felt this way? If so, did anything help rebuild that trust or feel more in tune with your body again?

wanna go to UK after 12th for undergrad. family can support from here, for both education and work.

my_qualifications, currently in 12th std commerce. i've planned to go abroad for both (primarily) education and work. since we have a close relative there who have there own house, the residency problem has been already sorted out. ive been above average in all my academic life but tbh i never really took studies seriously but would love to explore more in the finance side. additionally, i have some skills that i ve acquired in my freetime such as welding, and basic fabrication that ive developed since childhood cuz my father has an automobile and metal workshop. heard that beer skills abroad has a shortage(donno if its true or not) so i can manage my expenses by working part time if i find any work. tho i have a decent financial support from here, no loandls or mortgage but still would like to manage my own expenses.

so my main concrens are what can be the expected cost of living there and what are the basic problems do indians face there such as yk racism n all (but i believe its more glorified on social media). what are the things to needed if i ever decide to settle since its hard to get PR there. thank u
