Help identifying bar/restaurant in West Allis in the 80's - 90's

Hello, I've been trying to identify a bar/restaurant that was around in the 80's and 90's in West Allis. I believe it was located on 62nd and National, just west of that crazy intersection where Greenfield, National and 62nd street cross.

What I do remember:

  • The restaurant was on the south side of National Ave, east of 62nd street. (It could be further down National but I think it was just past 62nd)
  • The restaurant had a parking lot in between it and the building to the west of it, which was some sort of Stool shop. They sold bar stools.
  • The restaurant had a Friday family style fish fry. They'd bring big plates of haddock fish, bowls of fries, potato salad, and tartar sauce.
  • It closed sometime in the 2000's I think. My guess is it's where Antigua is currently located (6207 W National). However I could be mistaken and it could be further west on National.

Does anyone remember the name of this place?

Edit > Found it, it was called The Chalet!

Question about free entree coupon

I just got an email from my local Texas Roadhouse and it said its my anniversary of joining their VIP loyalty mailing list, they gave me a coupon for a free entree. The fine print on the bottom of the email says this:

>*Limit one offer per visit. Valid with purchase of an adult entree of equal or greater value. Valid for entree up to $15 in value. Excludes alcohol, tax, and gratuity. Not valid with any other offer, discount, or on holidays. No cash value. No substitutions. Void if altered in any way. One time use only.

It says valid for entree up to $15 in value. Does this mean I can order a $20 entree and they'll just take $15 off, or does it mean I must order an entree that is $15 or less? I just looked through the menu of my local restaurant and I found 3 meals for $14.99. Everything else is > $15. Anyone know how this type of coupon works? I never received a free entree coupon before, just free apps or sidekicks.

My Di Faro Pizza Review

I saw another post the other day calling Di Faro frozen pizza the best frozen pizza out there. There was a lot of skepticism in that post, but I was intrigued so I went out and got it.

I have to say, this is a pretty darn good frozen pizza. The sauce is on the sweeter side, which I actually prefer. The pepperoni is top quality - probably one of the best pepperoni's I've had on a frozen pizza. Cheese was good. The basil was not great. It was a soggy mess and did not crisp up stay firm. The star of the pizza was clearly the crust. The very center of the crust did not get as crispy as I'd have liked. I probably should have kept it in the oven a few more minutes... it was a bit floppy in the center. The outer crust however was tremendous. Very good flavor. Tasted just like a fresh pizza from a pizzeria! 9.8/10

Edit >> I forgot to add pricing... Regular price @ Target was $9.99. On sale for $7.99.

Problem with A Hunger From Beyond quest

I'm in Arx and got the heart of the devourer set. After obtaining that, when I cast the Spirit Vision spell I was surrounded by three ghosts. One of them wanted me to go to an arena to fight a dragon. I did not end up doing that, and continued on with the rest of my quests. Every time I cast Spirit Vision though, the ghosts would reappear around me. I continued to ignore them.

I just finished every other quest in my log and got to the part where I have to move on to the next chapter. I turned back around, teleported to town and casted Spirit Vision and now the ghosts are not appearing. My quest still says to talk to the lizard dreamer and face the dragon. Did I screw something up? Where is the ghost if he is no longer summoning around me when I cast Spirit Vision?

Scratch Pizza

Found this new pizza in my local grocery store (Southeastern Wisconsin area). It was $8.99 on sale. I don't remember what the regular price was. It claims to have made from scratch sauce, and an all natural crust. After opening, the crust did seem nice and thick. However after baking, the crust was super thin in the middle of the pizza. The crust actually felt very much like a pinsa romana crust. I'm not 100% certain if it is actually pinsa romana or if its just something very similar. I've had fresh pinsa romana crusts from the deli of a local grocery store and felt like those had a much better flavor. This one seemed a bit bland.

As for the rest of the pizza - the sauce did taste fresh. It had a very fresh tomato flavor, but lacked any other flavor. I didn't taste any type of spice. Seemed like straight up tomato sauce with nothing else in it. It was good, but could have been much better.

The cheese on the pizza was plentiful. I usually add my own moz cheese on a frozen pizza but this one did not need any extra cheese. The cheese definitely felt as if it was much higher quality cheese than the standard cheese you'd get on a normal frozen pizza.

The pepperoni was pretty standard. It didn't really stand out to me.

Overall, I gave the pizza a 7/10. It did seem a little bland and lacking any type of Italian flavor/seasoning. For reference, I think my current favorite frozen pizza is either Connie's Woodfire Pizza or Nancy's Thin Crust pizza - I'd give both 10/10 in comparison to other frozen pizzas.

Edit >> correct typos.

Does the Vivarium have any seats or stools in the venue?

I've searched all over and can't find a concrete answer. Does the Vivarium have any seating options available at all inside the venue? I know Turner Hall is advertised as a GA standing room venue, but they have a few seats/stools on the outsides of the floor.

Best "Fast Food" Chicken Wrap in the area?

First, before I post, I did search the sub. The latest post I found was a year ago and restaurants change constantly so I'm posting this again...

I'm looking for a good, quick chicken wrap in the southeastern Milwaukee area (Milwaukee, West Allis, Greenfield, Greendale, New Berlin, etc.). I really like the chicken wrap at Chick-fil-a, and the only other "fast" wrap I can think of is the Chicken Caesar wrap at Jimmy Johns. Can anyone suggest a good chicken wrap that isn't at a sit-down type restaurant? I'm looking for something quicker, take-out, etc.

Afterpay module broken after upgrade to 2.4.8-p4

Curious if anyone else is using Afterpay with their official module on Github? I just upgraded my Magento store to 2.4.8-p4 (from 2.4.6-p13). After the upgrade, the Afterpay module works fine when using the sandbox mode, but as soon as I put it into production mode with my production keys, I get an error when hitting the "Update Merchant Configuration" button within the Afterpay config. When hitting the button I get this message "Afterpay merchant configuration fetching is failed. See logs." and in the logs I get this:

afterpay.DEBUG: array (
  'merchant_id' => 'XXXXXX',
  'merchant_action' => '/XXXXX/afterpay/merchantconfiguration/update/key/XXXXXX/?isAjax=true',
  'target_uri' => 'https://global-api.afterpay.com/v2/configuration?include=cbt&include=publicId&include=channels&include=consumerLending',
  'request_body' =>
  array (
  ),
  'response' =>
  array (
    'errorCode' => 'not_found',
    'errorId' => 'b428ace4c9fc25f0',
    'message' => 'An error occurred',
    'httpStatusCode' => 404,
  ),
) [] []

Anyone else run into this issue? The module itself hasn't been updated since August 2025 so perhaps it's not working with 2.4.8?
