My friend is the biggest Hayley Williams fan ever and they’re seeing her in concert soon so I made this patchwork shirt for them!!!

I have this shirt from Urban Outfitters and it is by far one of the most flattering blouses on me. I’d love to make the shirt with a different fabric but I’ve only had experience making basic stuff and clothing alterations. I’ve been trying to find a similar looking pattern online but I haven’t been able to find much. They just don’t have the same flowy, whimsical vibe 😔 I have considered making the pattern on my own by copying the blouse I already have but I’m not sure if i’d be able to pull that off since I don’t have experience making clothes from scratch. Any advice or help is appreciated!

I had a fleece house for my girls they loved to hang out in. I didn’t realize, but they ripped up the inner lining and exposed some of the thread seams. I should have checked to make sure that it was safe. It was not, and this morning we found our beautiful baby Mayu with a piece of thread wrapped around her neck. It was mortifying and we will miss her so much. Please learn from our mistake. I love you Mayu and I’m so sorry

There is a stopper on it that prevents the top platen from completely swinging away from the bottom platen. The top left corner gets covered which makes adjusting stuff pretty difficult without getting burnt. Tried to initiate a return and got hit with a $70 shipping charge (which is basically a fourth of what I paid for the machine). I’m going to have to modify it to make it work, but just warning anyone else who wants to buy this heat press.

Got nachos from Chiles before I went on vacation and totally forgot about it. Looks crazy now!! What kind of mold is it?

I got this gorgeous blue morpho butterfly at a market last weekend but the poor guy has a rip in the right wing that got worse on the ride home :( He’s a little lopsided now too because of it. I’m worried about the rip getting worse too. I have never done any kind of taxidermy in my life, but I am very crafty and willing to try. Any advice how I should fix this?
