Is this serious? What should I do?

Thanks for your help by the way!!

I found this scratch on my lens, and I didn't know what caused it. It doesn't seem to affect the photo, but would there be any problems in the future? I'm new to cameras, so I don't know what to do with this...

Furthermore, I came to photograph a stream today, and suddenly it rained. I tried to keep my camera away, but water still leaked in. Thus, the first few drops of rain also made the camera somewhat wet. I've briefly dried the camera and the lens using some tissues, and currently drying it in a room with a fan and an air conditioner on "dry" mode. Would this help drying it? I don't have any silica gels, or oatmeal as my friend told me to. The images were blurrier afterwards, and also the focus seemed worse.

What is happening to the camera and the lens?

Why did Taoism, a non-religious philosophical worldview, turned into a religion?

Even stranger is that this is among the most superstitious religions, at least in my country (Vietnam). While Buddhists just practice their religion in peace, Taoism sometimes gets woven into daily life, and many families, religious or not, have at least a few Taoist talismans in their household, or even hang them at the front door. But wasn't Taoism introduced by a normal person (Laozi) with no religious affiliations at all?

People also make it look like a scary cult: from Taoist rituals (I experienced a few because my relatives in the countryside are extremely religious), to scarier cases such as the one that inspired the movie "Incantation".

Why would something that starts mundane ended up being turned into a religion like that?

Weird cockroach behaviour (video)

This cockroach emerges everyday exactly between 17:30 - 18:00, and disappears when I wake up the next day. However, it doesn't do anything, just standing there, wiggling its antennas. It has been here for more than a month, and since it didn't do much I haven't gotten rid of it (because I am scared of them, and I am lazy). I've also released my huntsman in that area, but it doesn't seem to do much.

So what is up with this cockroach? Thanks for your help! 😭

Why do we humans still fear and avoid supernatural-associated things, even if the majority says that they're just utter nonsense ?

It's strange how we believe "this is just an outdated belief", while we still fear the things associated with supernatural events in daily life. Even for things that aren't associated with primal instincts, like in my country, banana trees!

Or maybe graves? What kind of "primal instinct" do they trigger? Why do we fear them?

Why are the responses on my phone different from those on the computer?

The problem started yesterday and is still happening. For some reason, the responses on my phone resembled the answers of models like GPT3.5 or 4.0, with the classic style of opening with ''Ahhh...I can see why'' and ending with ''Do you want me to...?". I made a post yesterday and asked if it was just a recent upgrade that caused ChatGPT to behave like that. I thought it was just some imperfections that would be patched soon.

But no, when I ''retry'' the questions on my computer, it turned out to be normal. More confusing is that it is in the same account, the same conversation, and the same model (5.5). I later tried again on the phone, and the problem occurred again.

What might be causing this? Thanks for your help!

The "Do you want me to..." had come back?

While using it today, I noticed that the formatting became extremely similar to the model they used more than a year ago. Not just that "signature" words, but the logic also became extremely similar. The model sugarcoated me more, and provided less detailed pieces of information unlike the newer models they provide.

Maybe this is just a temporary lag resulted from a recent update?

What is this card, and what box of Topps did it originate from?

Seriously, is Reddit really "full of unemployed and immature people", or is it just a hoax used by Redditors to mock the people they don't agree with (in a debate-oriented platform like Reddit)?

Any more information on this band?

I couldn't find it anywhere, even as in the Encyclopaedia. What I know is that they're Ukrainian, having a few albums and demos, but cannot be found anywhere except on this YouTube account. I would be happy to hear any information about them. Thanks!

What animal is making this sound (that sounds like a sheep to me)? [Hanoi, Vietnam]

This sound can be heard everywhere in the Red River Delta. I've been hearing this every time I walk in the countryside, but never knew what animal made it.

Its ubiquitous presence makes me think of some kind of bird, but I'm not sure. In fact, it is so ubiquitous that the sound became part of many people's childhood memories here. Both my grandparents and my parents (and my cousins as well) also reported hearing this everywhere, but never knew the name. They all lived in different locations within the Red River Delta region, so as I've said, it could be a bird, or something that is widespread like frogs or insects (unlikely).
