Posted previously about feeling maternal towards baby Brick and a few of you said he’s even younger in the original pilot so I ran to YouTube and…. he IS 😭

That aside, the rest of the cast was so…… boring? There wasn’t any life in any of the characters at all, and I felt so depressed watching it. I’m guessing the original pilot has been talked about many times here but it’s my first time watching (and finally at season 7 so far!!) so I just thought I’d give my 2 cents that nobody asked for.

After watching the original pilot I have since had a newfound appreciation for all of them. Glad they didn’t change baby Brick tho, he was perfect :)

Im at season 6 now but my brother started watching The Middle recently so I join in sometimes and I forgot how cute Brick was 😭 so here’s an appreciation post for baby Brick

Just watched this episode for the Nth time. Reminded me how this was my top five fave scenes lol

Rewatching Modern Family for the Nth time and I loved how Claire said this with a straight face. She def meant business lol

Jay and Phil need more scenes together they’re so funny as hell (read: Jay’s constant roasting of Phil is funny)

One of my favourite scenes. They may have some egotistical moments but they’re still just some silly boys at the end of the day.

I don't think we see Mitchell and younger Manny interact too often but from time to time I do still think fondly of this episode. Sometimes I forget Manny's step-siblings are Claire and Mitchell but in this scene they really did give off sibling vibes in the best way.
