Civ Pro - Too many cards

About to finish CivPro lectures, im probably nearly at 250+ flashcards on Anki. For the other subjects ive done so far (Contracts Prop Torts and BA) I have 100-150 and I can get through memorizing those in a few hours. Im doing the same thing I did for my other subjects when I made the ones for CivPro, is it just that dense with rules I need to know? How do i get around to memorizing all these rules and deadlines etc without messing it up? I havent done any practice questions for it yet but i feel like it'll be easy to mess it up with how much there is to know for this subject

Essay Help

Im seriously struggling on my MEE's and a little on MPT's but mostly MEE. I have trouble remembering rules cold, I usually can get the general rule but every sample answer shows how a good answer covers every aspect of the rule and Im just not able to do that right now. Also, my analysis sections always seem a little underdeveloped compared to the sample answers, i try connecting each element to facts from the passage but I always miss something it seems like. I feel like at max I'm hitting 2-3's on any MEE subject.

For people who have or are taking commercial bar prep courses, will this improve over time during June? I'll have all my lecture reviews done by first week of june so the rest of june and july will be practice MBE, MEE, and MPT's.

Is themis screwing with me? Bus.Assoc. MEE

Two problems here, my notes specifically say that a special meeting MUST include the "purpose" of the meeting in a notice to shareholders, AND that special meeting notice (and annual meeting notice) must be given no fewer than 10 but no more than 60 days before the meeting. This sample answer specifically says at least 2 days prior but also that the notice for a special meeting doesnt have to have the purpose stated in the meeting. I checked checked again and triple checked the notes i have printed from the lectures and it definitely says purpose must be stated in special meeting notice and that for both annual and special meetings it must be given no fewer than 10 but no more than 60. What the hell is the right answer? The sample answer and lecture notes say two very different things

Using IWB as OWB?

Hello friends, so I got my CPL and I have an IWB holster for my handgun. Problem is… I’ve gained more weight than I thought in the last several months. I usually carry at my 3 o clock because it’s far more comfortable to wear as opposed to appendix personally. Since I’ve gained the weight My IWB won’t fit in just some of the pants i wear at my 3. So my question is, can I put my IWB at my 3 between the waistband and my carry belt? When the belts relatively tight the retention is enough to hold even if I run and jump around from what I’ve tried and I tried pretty hard to get it to come out, it only does when I actually want it to come out by draw

TLDR: since I’ve become a fat chud lately can I use my IWB as an OWB concealed carry in a pinch between my waist band and belt?

I have been mostly following the directed study through the given daily schedules. i have gotten through 4 MBE PQ sets for contracts. the first was 17 questions, the next 3 were 34 questions.

The first one i was way below the average number of correct out of that set (40% vs the average of 60% i believe) the other 3 i was pretty much right around the average % of correct questions if that makes sense.

My question is: if i hang right around the average number of questions answered correctly (give or take a couple percent), am i on track to passing the Bar? Or is that not the right way to look at it?

When i create tests using the flex study (Uworld and NCBE questions), the % correct i get versus the average correct responses vary greatly. sometimes ill get 80% correct out of the number of questions i do (5-10 usually) when the average is around 60. and sometimes i get 40% correct out of the number questions i do when the average is also around 60%. so my concern is that maybe the MBE PQ sets are too easy and that my real indicator of Bar performance will be the random questions i do through flex study Uworld and NCBE problems instead of the MBE PQs.

Does that make sense? Any help would be appreciated

Title pretty much explains it. (using directed study mostly except to supplement a fewMBE questions everyday)

  • i started on monday, and yesterday night I finished all the lessons associated with the MBE portion of contracts that themis gave me.
  • I have made about a 100 something flashcards and have done about 47 something MBE questions for contracts.
    • have gone through the wrong answers by now
  • Tomorrow themis has assigned the start of the Contracts Essay workshops/lessons/practice along with more MBE practice

For the rest of today, should i go through my notes and flashcards? or drill more practice questions? both? Which will help me more?

sorry if this is a dumb question, any help is appreciated

Holy shit? I bombed the hell out of this.

Today's my first day studying for the Bar, Im using themis and it assigned like 4 hours of lessons for contracts.

I spent about 6 hours watching the videos for todays assigned chapters and doing the corresponding practice questions after each chapter and filling in the blanks. I know a common critique of themis is that its a bit too passive (not sure if barbri or others are similar in that way though) so I was trying my best to be more active about taking in the information.

I felt really confident and since it was getting late decided on doing only 10 practice questions without referring to my outlines/notes/flashcards, and when I read the first one it felt like everything i spent 6 hours doing just left my brain. I could vaguely recall the rules and I had a general idea for them but I could barely get it down precisely. I can see that these are obviously relatively difficult questions looking at the "% correct others" numbers. But after spending SIX hours actively trying to learn and take notes I thought I'd feel a little more confident about being able to recall rules.

Need advice, what am I doing wrong or what can I do differently? I'm gonna spend the rest of the night going over the incorrect questions, any help would be appreciated
