Fun activities in town

My birthday is coming up and I want to have a day set up of fun things to do. What are some neat places with things to do in town. Like painting, candle making, anything crafty or fun for reasonable prices. Am mainly looking at solo activities.

Finding roomates online?

So I've been looking on Facebook and other sites for roomates for this school year but don't know the full list of things to check off before signing with them/my individual lease. I know living styles, communicating with them, and checking out the apartment. But are there other things to look for? Because through text they seem fine and some of them are out of town so we can't meet. What else should I be checking for? As I don't want a horror roommate story.

Making friends as a junior?

Do friends made as upperclassmen tend to stick near to the end of/after school? I'm hoping to make more friends this yr and be more involved, but I'm also realizing that we may not stay in touch after we graduate. I didn't have many friends my previous 2 years and i never had roomates, plus being an introvert just made socializing intimadating/draining. I tried to get involved last yr by joining clubs/going to campus events/working on campus, but i didn't find people i connected with. I'm hoping to try way more clubs this yr even if I don't initially like them, just for the hopes of venturing out. I know college flies by, and I know that it only gets harder to make friends after college as most are busy with work/life (which is why i chose college rather than cc as ive had issues with friendships in the past). Anyways, sorry for the low-key rant, I'm just looking for advice.

Moisturizing in braids?

How do you keep your hair moisturized in braids (box/knotless/boho, etc.) Everytime i put water my hair starts to frizz up but I was told not to put oil by itself. I just got these braids 2 weeks ago and want them to last so help would be appreciated!

Nursing chances?

Does space change whether you apply fall or spring? Also how are chances if I have a pre req of 3.68 with an A in anatomy and B in physiology (taken at another university) and if I have a cna license. I've yet to take the teas.

Nursing Spring Chances?

I know fall is the hardest to get into but what does spring admission look like? I have a 3.68 pre req gpa and am wondering if that would be good enough.

Should I change major? Or try again?

This is lowkey a rant, but I'm an upcoming junior who'd spent the last 2 years as a pre-nursing major aiming to get into the program. Freshman year wasn't the best and my gpa plummeted so I decided to try again this yr by retaking some classes and replacing grades. Applications are being reviewed but because this program is competitive at my school since you only sumbit grades, I need to have a backup if i dont get in. I really tried this semeter and only have 2 non-A's (a B in math and B+ in phsyiology). I don't really know what other pathway to do. I'd been passionate for nursing and thought about applying at a community College but i missed the deadline and would have to apply for a spring start which would really push me into a 5th yr and that's if I even get in. I had also thought about pre-pa but I don't have a passion for it but i don't know what other path to go down and i feel like i need to just choose something and graduate. I don't know what else to do and I honestly feel like I kinda wasted these past 2 years since there's been basically no progress.

I'm gonna be in town most of the summer with not much to do besides work. What are some activites, events, or groups i could check out so i don't feel bored?
