Looking for a Study Partner – SSC, RBI & Railway Exams

Hi,

I’m deaf and have 100% hearing loss. I’m looking for a study partner to start preparing for SSC, RBI and Railway exams.

I’m completely new to competitive exam preparation and want to start from scratch, so it would be great to find someone who is also starting out or is willing to study together and stay motivated.

I’m from Kerala, so I prefer Malayalam communication. English is also fine for me, but I would prefer Malayalam over Hindi.

If anyone is interested, please feel free to DM me.

Thanks!

100% Deaf Candidate from Kerala – SSC, IBPS, RBI & Other Govt Exam Eligibility?

Hi,

I’m from Kerala and currently working in Bangalore. I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 and I’m looking to prepare for competitive exams with good job security, especially SSC, IBPS/SBI/RRB and RBI exams.

I’m completely deaf (100% hearing loss) and cannot use hearing aids as my hearing nerve is damaged.

I recently saw a post about an IBPS application being rejected for a 100% deaf candidate, so I’d like to clarify whether there are any restrictions for completely deaf candidates in SSC, IBPS, RBI, or other government exams, depending on the post.

If anyone with 100% deafness has successfully applied, cleared, or joined through SSC, IBPS/SBI/RRB or RBI, please share your experience.

Also, please suggest any other government/PSU exams that I may be eligible for as a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduate under the PwBD/Deaf category.

Thanks!

100% Deaf Candidate – SSC, IBPS & Other Govt Exam Eligibility?

Hi everyone,

I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 and currently work in an MNC. I’m looking to prepare for competitive exams with good job security, especially SSC and banking exams (IBPS/SBI/RRB).

Need clarification regarding IBPS/Banking exams for 100% deaf candidates + suggestions for other exams

Hi,

I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2022 and I’m currently working in an MNC. I’m now interested in preparing for competitive exams that can provide better job security and a stable career.

I’m completely deaf (100% hearing loss in both ears). I cannot use hearing aids because the hearing nerve is damaged.

Yesterday, I came across a post where an IBPS candidate mentioned that their application was rejected because they had applied under the Deaf (D) category. This has made me concerned about whether candidates with 100% hearing impairment are actually eligible for IBPS/banking positions, or whether eligibility depends on the specific post and the PwBD category mentioned in that year's notification.

I would really appreciate clarification from anyone who has:

* Applied for IBPS/SBI/RRB banking exams as a Deaf (D) candidate

* Successfully cleared the exam and joined a bank

* Knowledge about whether 100% deaf candidates are eligible for specific banking posts

* Faced any issues during application, document verification or medical examination

Also, if banking exams have limitations for candidates with complete deafness, what other government/PSU/competitive exams would you recommend for a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduate under the PwBD/Deaf category?

Suggestions for SSC, PSU, railways, insurance, state government jobs, or any other exams with good job security are very welcome.

I’m particularly interested in hearing from candidates with 100% hearing loss/deafness who have actually gone through the recruitment process.

Thanks in advance!
