Do you guys think this is genuinely helping tourism and bringing more visitors to these places, or does it have little real-world impact?
Balen has been posting and promoting different places around Nepal on his social media lately. Do you think this is actually helping these destinations get more visitors and attention, or is the impact mostly limited to social media engagement?
If you’ve visited a place because of one of his posts, or know of any examples where tourism increased after he promoted a location, I’d be interested to hear about it.

We are tired of indian tourist!!!
hi , I’m from Pokhara, Nepal, and honestly I’m getting frustrated with the behavior of some Indian tourists here.
Everywhere I go, I see garbage left behind. People cook in public places and leave all the trash there. Many beautiful areas are becoming dirty because of this. Another thing I’ve noticed is that some tourists constantly ask things like “Bhai, spa kidhar hai?” or “Bhai, club kidhar hai jaha ladki milta hai?” which creates a bad impression.
What I find ironic is that many of these same vehicles have religious stickers and posters on them, yet the behavior doesn’t reflect the values they promote.
I’m not saying all Indians are like this. I’ve met many respectful Indian tourists as well. But the number of people behaving this way seems to be increasing, and as a local it’s frustrating to watch Pokhara become dirtier and less respectful because of it.
Tourism is important for our city, but responsible tourism is important too. Please respect the places you visit and help keep them clean.
It might sound rude but please if you don’t have enough money don’t visit other countries because of you and your behaviour anti Indian sentiments are raising there.
