I'm having to move back into my childhood where I was sa'd for years. Need advice.

I'm almost 40 and unfortunately, despite the fact that I'm making the most money I've ever made, I can't keep up with bills any longer and my mom was saying I could move back into her house along with my 13 year old daughter. This is going to save me about $2,000 a month which I will be able to put towards paying off my card which still has $16,000 on it and allow me to build up savings. Furthermore, she's letting us have the entire basement and we can paint it and put carpet in it and everything because due to a flood 10 years ago, the basement has been sitting empty with no carpet. I'm actually incredibly excited about this as I've always rented and have never been able to paint or make any of my own decisions and it will be nice to no longer have to worry about hiding my pet and neighbor's doors slamming constantly and all that.

However, when I was in elementary school, my older brother and all of his friends did some horrible things to me in that basement that I actually repressed to the point that I didn't remember any of it until I was about 30 in one day the memories hit me like a truck. I keep breaking down crying at not only the thought of having to move back into that room, but my daughter would be living in my brother's old room. She has no idea about it. And is honestly pretty excited to get to paint and decorate her room as well. I'm sure once I'm actually there and everything looks different I will feel better and mostly forget about things. But I know that at night when I'm trying to go to sleep it's all going to hit me randomly. I'm not super spiritual or anything because I've had somebody say to burn some sage down there and I'm going to do that but I just need a way to cope. Therapy is not an option due to money. And honestly, I've tried therapy in the past and simply talking about my feelings does not work.

White matter spots on MRI?

I had my decompression in 2020 and I've still been in severe pain ever since. I had an MRI tonight and I'm able to review the report but not the images. The main thing noted is "Few punctate T2 FLAIR hyperintense foci in the bilateral frontal lobe white matter — this is the notable finding". Google says it could be many things. Does anyone else have this? The report does state this could be the reason for my constant headache that is with me 24\7 but unfortunately my next neuro apt is in January. My PCP is who ordered these in case there was an emergency.

Anyone clean out fire escape wells?

I'm moving into my mom's house and there's always been a big fire escape window in my old room but it hasn't been touched or cleaned in many many years. It's so bad that if there was a fire I wouldn't even consider using it. Does anyone clean these out? What is the pricing? I googled it and I'm not getting anything.

Visiting frontier City for the first time

Hello, as the title says I'm visiting frontier City for the first time. I'm actually going to be there this coming Sunday and Monday. Any idea on what kind of crowds to expect? I bought the $35 tickets that are for frontier City and the water park and looking at pictures online, the water park doesn't look like it's all that great. What are people's opinions on that?

LF draco and Hermione share a strong connection

I started a long fic the day before this past Christmas and just finished yesterday. It was such a slow burn that it actually took me out of reading for a long time and now that I finally finished it, I don't feel in the mood to read a lot of things. However, I do remember a fic I read where Draco was a werewolf and he and Hermione could feel each other's emotions and were super connected like that. I'm pretty sure that was abandoned, but are there any others that have the same premise? I'm definitely not looking for a slow burn again but not looking for a one shot. Also please no wips

Has anyone else had this extreme reaction to levothyroxine?

I started on 50 mg back in December and after a couple of months I started to feel a little better. In May I went in for another checkup and had let my doctor know at that time that my exhaustion had reached a point where I was literally passing out at my desk at work and it's almost like I would be in a trance and I would be in and out of consciousness all day. I also notated that it was around the exact same time everyday as well. I went back a few weeks ago and she upped my dosage to 75 mg due to my labs whatever they showed her. This feeling of going unconscious only got worse from there.

Well today I just decided to not take my medication in the morning just to see what would happen and I feel 100% fine. Literally black and white difference. I have energy and it's almost like the levothyroxine was sedating me and messing me up like street drug would. I called today and they want me to come in on Monday but has anybody else had this reaction to levothyroxine?

Anyone else's arm go numb?

I had decompression surgery back in 2020 and I've had a constant pounding in the middle of my forehead. Since then. I was never told I had a syrinx or anything but everything I've looked into says that's probably what this specific pain is. Anyways, exactly half of my left arm and hand keeps going completely numb lately. Not like tingly when your arm falls asleep but a different kind of numbness. Does anyone else have that? That's directly related to a syrinx right?

I live in complete isolation with medical issues and chronic pain and the autism doesn't help. I work from home and get everything delivered and it's difficult to go out even if I wanted to. It was suggested I make friends online before my mental health gets to a point of no return.

I'm 35, female, very liberal, cat lover, Harry Potter fanfic, politically aware, and I'd like to find people who are similar in these regards.

I'm autistic and hyper fixate on tracking and counting things my entire life so I know that's a good start lol. But I'm worried about all the coding and everything. I've learned a bit about SQL and Python but obviously I know it gets more advanced. Although I have a passion for tracking and indexing, I don't feel like I'm "smart". But I have been working a job in indexing on a computer for almost 2 years now and I'm top of my department and love it.
