many people on this sub recommended DA:O and i gotta say that i'm not hooked by the game I've been playing for about 2-3 hours now and i just finished the Korcari Wilds section. my biggest gripes with the game has to by with the story, combat and performance.

i liked the story at the begging i played as a dwarf noble and i really enjoyed the game of thrones style political intrigue but with dwarfs. but after being forcefully recruited by ser duncan my interest in the plot took a deep nosedive. i don't really care about the generic Good humans vs bad demons story at all i would rather go back to the orzammar politics. Also i hate the companions Daveth,Alistar and Jory are so boring and cowardly i couldn't care less about them.

I not a big hater of real time with pause games i liked baldur's gate and mass effect series but the combat in here is feels really clunky to me. my dual wielding dwarf seem to always miss all of the attacks even when the opponent is stunned. i don't really like how you cannot control companions i wish you could at lest give orders to them like in mass effect.

Also the technical state of this game is horrendous. the shadows are glitching out constantly, the game crashes every 10 minutes and my save got corrupted
